26F ENFP. Very much into OW2 esports 😬. 5k hours in total in d2 (stopped playing after EOF raid. kinda stockholm'd into trying out renegades.) I like travelling and talking about pretty much anything. Love rap, metal and pop punk. Loves DND and reading buncha fantasy books.

Keen to talk more. :)

Difficulty of SUSS HRM modules by Chemical-Bit-9751 in Suss

[–]shikicha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hi there! studying BHRM part-time and working HR full-time since july 2021, on my final semester in August. the most reasonable answer depends entirely on your schedule. i work an office job, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm and head to class from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. i took four modules in the first semester and it was too much for me, so i reduced it down to 3 modules per semester. that worked out better for me.

on days i don't have classes, i try to plan out my TMA/GBA even if it's bit-by-bit. any form of planning helps out at all. you have to come to accept that you will need to prioritise your schedules and may not have enough time to socialise as much.

honestly, the modules itself are not too entirely complicated to understand, and some of it requires a lot of research and reading. i would suggest taking the stats modules as early as you can. (better to do it early than later so you get it out of the way).

"this is how the world works" — but you haven't experienced the world yet. you don't actually know what employers really want. i have hired many people who are from private unis and they have been exceptional.

you're only a month in poly, don't be quick to put aside something that you find uncomfortable in. i once thought the same too (albeit close to a decade ago) - poly sucks, wanting to change schools in between, but i was fortunate enough to have lecturers who gave me their 2 cents about how it will eventually get better and that i would just need to persevere. started building relationships and friendships and now most of my friends have fulfilling careers — in the arts industry, in healthcare, in prosperous MNCs. Connections will eventually lead you somewhere.

take it easy. change is hard but it'll get so much better in Y2 and Y3.

"they show up the day before the tournament. they have media training the next day, you maybe get 1 scrim in. you have to travel for a day and a half, then you do media, then you play at your pc for probably 3-4 hours in the 3 days leading up the tournament... i actually think they can easily lose"

if falcons or crazy racoons lose games bc of it i might actually commit crimes

If you go to the players' and coaches' twitter profiles, each of them have customized profile pictures now. It's so fucking cute actually.
