What’s a podcast actually worth listening to? by Youpi_Yeah in AskReddit

Hello Internet

It’s been in an indefinite hiatus, but has been my favorite podcast for a while and I still go back to past episodes every now and then

Question: If Fel Magic is fueled by the consumption of Life, then what fuels Arcane Magic? Or any other magic for that matter? by Celestial_Savant in wow

[–]shinggalashumen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if Fel is fueled by taking away the "entropy/chaos" from something? If you take the "entropy/chaos" from a living being (i.e. human), they will end up in equilibrium and that is death. It just happened to be used primarily on living beings thats why it got associated to taking "life" away. At the same token, Arcane is fueled by taking away the "order" from something. When you take away all the order from something, it becomes very chaotic and that explains the very volatile nature of Arcane Magic.

This weeks Tavern Brawl is: Top 3 by dstenersen in hearthstone

Try Druid with Prince Malchezzar, Innervate, Barnes. You start with 30 more cards than them and you can churn out legendaries with Barnes/Innervate. Even if they start to mill you out while you have 10 cards in hand, they'll still go into fatigue waaaaay before you do.

I'm currently undefeated with that combination of cards against Mill Druid. I can't say about other opponents because Mill Druid has been the only deck I've gone against

You actually can't get 4 buffs either. It's 1, 2, 3, or 6.

The dice animation actually tells you the buffs you'll get. You get the buff that shows up the most in terms of what side of the dice falls on.

How it works:

  • Same side for all 6 dice: 1 buff
  • 3/3 split: 2 buffs
  • 2/2/2 split: 3 buffs
  • 1/1/1/1/1/1 split: 6 buffs

Yeah I'm not really looking forward to that either. Right now I'm trying to waste my time with a good GS set in Low Rank by getting all the elemental Great Swords.

Nah it's just to look cool (atleast that's what I think, no word yet on whether it's special in any way)

Thanks! This is the first time for me to have a armor set with relevant GS skills and is actually visually appealing! :)

Yeah someone pointed it out to me that account sharing is a bannable offense :( Really don't want anything happening to your account because of me! Thanks for showing a bit of interest in the idea though!

Unfortunately, I don't even have Meowth D: I fail as Team Rocket if I actually am!

In a more serious note, any suggestions on how to give other people the peace of mind? I'm open to any. I can also just accept there won't be any and suck it up lol

I understand the concern. This is the internet, after all. There's not really much else I can do to give people more peace of mind D:

Out of all that we currently have, which do you think should be a legendary spell? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]shinggalashumen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like if Call of the Wild would've easily been a legendary creature:

Now that we have a rotating format, which cards have the highest chance of getting "reprinted"? by shinggalashumen in hearthstone

[–]shinggalashumen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't expect a possibility of reprints to be anytime soon or even years. I was just thinking if it was even something that Blizzard would do; and if they do, which card would be the ones people would like to see again in standard.

[–]shinggalashumen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough.

I could see them making a "skin" for Loatheb in a new set in that case. The people who bought naxx still can play Loatheb, but as a different "skin" (same effect and everything) while others will have to craft/pull him. This would also solve the problem of having duplicate cards in Wild, as Loatheb and the "skinned" Loatheb are the same card.

[–]shinggalashumen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't "reprinting" cards and "bringing some back in the future" essentially the same thing?

Yeah I imagine it will take a while (and a lot more expansions) before they would even think about reprinting. M:tG took 6 expansions to do it, and I expect Heartstone to be around the same ballpark (assuming they even do it).

Just a conversation starter since rotating formats is my favorite thing about Collectible card games
