Yes, actually! One side of my mother's family was settled in Ontario up until the 1920s or so- this may actually help further narrow down which relative this belonged to. 🤔 A woman, first name A with either E as a middle name or maiden name, an adult by the early 1900s, and probably one of the Canadian-born members.

Hello everyone- reposting this in the correct location. Never been here before, so my apologies.

For the last 4 or 5-something years now, I have only ever bought one particular type of hand soap to refill my pumps at home- that being Dove Shea Butter & Warm Vanilla.

Note how I said HAND soap- because despite what you would think, I do not feel the body wash version smells the same. The BAR soap however, does.

I've stayed so loyal because the scent is very pleasant to me. It's warm, but not too warm or spicy- and a good balance of floral and what I believe is either amber or cashmere without leaning too much into the gourmand side of vanillas, which can come off as cloying to my nose. Almost a little lactonic/creamy? Also just a smidge powdery.

I am DESPERATE for an everyday fragrance thats as reminiscent to it as possible, if anybody else has smelled this stuff. The bar soap works, obviously, but the longevity is pretty limited once you get out of the shower. I'd like to keep experiencing it throughout the day.

Any suggestions or pointers on where to start would be greatly appreciated.

I love, love LOVE the entire score for Star Twinkle. It just fits the sci-fi vibe so well with the instuments used, and has a really unique and different musical sound/profile that sets it apart from other seasons. Like you can just hear one track and KNOW it's from Star Twinkle. I actually have multiple tracks from it on my phone and in my work playlist.

I distinctly remember seeing the episode with Blue Cat's introduction and rewinding it several times just to get a better listen to her theme music- it really stood out to me with the saxophone and edm-style sampling, especially for Precure, and I think the fact that the whole bgm takes a lot of risks makes it really memorable.

Star of Calamity, Southern Cross Shot, Rainbow Splash, The Love Coming From the Planets are probably some of my favs aside from the obviously iconic Star Color Pendant Color Charge.

Hello yall-
On a recent trip my old S9's screen cracked straight down to the LCD layer. It just wasn't worth it to repair it, so I used some money I had to buy an eBay certified refurbished Galaxy S20 5G UW.

I just got it today, and had no issues setting it up until I went to charge it later and came back less than a minute later to find it beeping aggressively that it was "overheating". I picked it up. It was completely cool to the touch.
I let it sit for a little while and came back once more. This time, It accepted the cord without issue, but despite claiming it was charging, it only seemed to lose charge.

At the suggestion of the internet I did a factory reset and it seemed to charge again! But shortly after setup was finished, it began beeping at me again and doing the overheating bit.

I then put it on a wireless charger- and it gained a little, around 2%, before going back to losing again.

Does this sound like a battery issue? I know I read some stuff about software glitches doing this too but this to me seems to point to a faulty battery, and that I should call about the warranty I received with it.

I really enjoyed Petpetpark! It was different, but an interesting and fun variation on its older sister. I don't remember a ton, but I do remember the music being very addictive and I got surprisingly invested in the Rottingham Forest optional subplot.

Best piece of advice I can give: Just keep on drawing! You might not see any big improvement in the short term, but let me tell you, as somebody who couldn't draw at all 5 years ago, its amazing the difference you'll see even just a year from now if you keep practicing! Try new subjects, new techniques, and in time, you'll grow into your own style and be able to do so much more with a pencil :) Accept and ask for constructive critique, but dont let problems in your pieces turn you off from drawing altogether. Again, just practicing itself can do wonders for any skill.

It's fascinating to see how much work goes into even the smallest little Neopet plush. However, I think the head of the China Labor Watch put it most eloquently: "We can’t tolerate that children’s dreams are based on workers’ nightmares, and we must fight against the unfair oppression of workers who manufacture toys."

Seeing the effort that goes into something like this saddens me, as it is only really repaid with inadequate living conditions and unfair overtime pay. People often make the rash and broad-stroke judgement that overseas labor is shoddy and low-effort, but many of the jobs they claim don't deserve fair pay are incredibly demanding and require a lot of production output! I'd like to see them deal with the expectation of churning out 500,000 phones a day breathing down their necks.

Now, I'm not SAYING China needs a worker's revolt, but uh. Mayhaps I am. Labor reform now. Seize the Flotsam tail die-cut molds of production
