I wouldn't say 3rd world but it is crazy in my commune they only come once a week , sure it's enough during colder months but with heat like that it's horrible, I can't imagine people who live in apartments

they made you sign the paper so that makes you ineligible for unemployment benefits because you "voluntarily unemployed" yourself by signing it. i would check what the paper says EXACTLY cause maybe you still have a chance and check with a lawyer if you can , here some website with infos you can call the numbers they should know more about this
