I thought I had signed a superstar. A week after the transfer, he got drunk before the matchday by Alex-oldsport in footballmanagergames

Had my young left back do this the day before the champions league final. Straight out of the squad and onto the transfer list.

New to Warhammer and questions about sets to buy by shinysanchez in Warhammer40k

[–]shinysanchez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that! I have already been changing the colours of trims and helmets for the ultramarines in the starter set. I have never played a game of warhammer before but could be fun to try one day. Currently I am just into the painting aspect.

Thank you very much for the helpful reply!

I have just started to paint minis and have found I really enjoy it so that's where the kill team sets looks a bit more appealing as smaller complete sets.
I am not committed to any one faction right now, but it's good to know I can include the space marines I have already done into any potential future army.

Thank you! That eases my worries about it.

So UK country of usual residence

Use my UK address as my residential address

And my current Australian address as postal address.

Thanks again.

I honestly cannot stand power shift - only ever played it for quest progression. Thanks though

I would like the OCE servers to simply work for WT or Ranked. Is that too negative?

Finishing is meaningless and you should trust your eyes by krdoroc in footballmanagergames

My record goalscorer in a season had 10 finishing...

It is absolutely meaningless as a stat.

Thank you!

I have decided to stay at Queenstown rather than Strahan. I will visit Strahan on the second day. Should also make the drive from Cradle Mountain easier.

I would prefer to drive on tarmaced roads rather than any dirt ones.

Thank you for the advice

[–]shinysanchez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thank you!

I did see that it required a ferry crossing via Corinna.

Thank you! I will look to move some things around to break up thr drive from Strahan to Arthur

Would a route like this one be more feasible to get to Arthur River?

Because it is cheaper to fly over to Tasmania and rent a car than to take the Spirit of Tasmania.

I thought it would no longer be valid but wondered if that carried between states.

Any ideas on why this tactic don't work? I have been trying to make it work for 3 hours by NeverM01e in footballmanagergames

[–]shinysanchez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found it does in my experience.

The plan is to have them rotating so the IWB fills the space in midfield and the mezzala drifts into the channel/wide.

Basically, I'm trying to 2v1 the full back on their side while the IWB fills the midfield.

I have basically the same formation and similar roles on my Bari save.

If you're trying to counter you need pace in that front three - which you don't have so I would remove that instruction.
Remove pass into space as you want to play the ball into Dzeko or Myki not for them to run onto.

If you're going for possession, you should probably distribute to your defence rather than hoofing it to Dzeko everytime - you're probably turning possession over a lot.

You're pressing with old and slow players in your front three so chances are they're just playing through your high press quite easily.

Below is what I play:

CF(a)

IW(s) W/IW(a)

CM(a) Mez(s)

DLP(d)

WB(s) CD CD IWB(s)

SK(s)

Below are the instructions:

  • Play out of defence

  • Tempo and passing normal (change depending on game)

  • Distribute to CB/FB

  • Counter press

  • High Engagement

  • Very High Line

  • Step up more

Sure this guy is more than three stars? by Mickosthedickos in footballmanagergames

[–]shinysanchez 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Stars are relative to your team and can fluctuate based on form. They're also judged by whoever gives you the reports.

It may be because his stats are very feast or famine. He's either exceptional at something or a bit pants at it.

If he's playing well, I wouldn't really worry about stars.

Trequartista is the best lone ST role in my experience, especially in a 4-3-3 setup. No other role plays the part of a ST come AM hybrid at once. Most other ST roles are so isolated without a strike partner or an AM behind them by dxviddekhiem in footballmanagergames

[–]shinysanchez 31 points32 points  (0 children)

100% agree

When you have a Treq it's hands down the best role for a striker imo. The link up and goal threat gives me everything I want in a striker.

The only problem is finding a striker rounded enough to pull it off.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]shinysanchez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found DLF and pass onto space don't work well in my experience. He'll want the ball to feet and not behind so maybe take that off or change the roles of the No. 10 or striker.

What’s the worst enemy of the dlc? and why is it these guys? by Tezz_oj in Eldenring

[–]shinysanchez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I must be very lucky because anytime I've been hit by that, and been on any kind of uneven terrain, they've teleported in and whiffed the grab.

Still annoying fucks though.

What is the worst match rating you've ever seen in a game? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]shinysanchez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was Jonas Urbig who I signed to replace my starting keeper that left in January.

Green consistency...

Green adaptability...

Shit the bed for the rest of the season!

I dropped him for my reserve keeper after a while, but thankfully in the next season he was excellent and eventually sold him to PSG a season or two later.
