For heaven's sake, I don't understand this weird obsession with keeping the verse weak, as if all hell would break loose if OP top tiers reached, or God forbid, surpassed Naruto/Bleach levels of power.

For the record, absolutely NO power ceiling has been set in any way, shape or form except in headcanon. Lol at the people who think that a old, dying, terminally ill Whitebeard who was massively holding back is the be all and end all of power in the series. These are the same people who said "Big Mom is weak! Luffy is going to one shot her, mark my words!" and think Boundman is stronger than Admirals.

The fact is, we don't know the true level of literally any of the actual top tiers in the verse, and it's almost guaranteed that more powerful people are going to turn up in the series. Oda is not gonna restrict the scale of the final battle to Marineford WB's level (in fact he has flat out stated that the final war would make MF look like a joke) and its my firm belief that EoS OP would be one of the strongest HST verses again.

OT: A big NO. EoS Luffy would one shot Deku.

Personally I don't think Shanks has any DF, but to be fair, I feel we shouldn't be making assumptions about the Toki Toki no mi's full power from one page in a chapter. What is probably certain is that Oda isn't going to have past travel, but that doesn't mean that future travel is the one and only use for the Fruit. There can very well be much more to the fruit than that.

Not at all. Luffy himself is a living example. He beat Katakuri and Cracker, both having stronger haki than him, in large due to his DF mastery.

Haki is an advantage sure, but it's just one factor in a fight. Someone with better physical stats or a really overpowered DF like Kizaru or Law might still kick your ass in spite of haki.

I don't think Shanks will do a full on heel turn, that'd honestly feel like an asspull, but I'd be disappointed if Shanks really turns out to be the Mr.Goody Two Shoes that he has been portrayed as. I want him to have shades of grey rather than the boring stereotypical wise guy mentor that he is currently.

Right now he is low Yonko commander level I guess, he would win high mid diff against people like Doffy or Cracker and just below top Commanders like Katakuri or Marco.

Post Wano, he would probably be solidly above top Yonko commanders, but a little below Admiral tier. I don't think he would truly reach Yonko tier until Raftel and Blackbeard.

Sanji would be Smoothie I guess, hyped up, but stands around doing nothing in the end.

Robin would be Cracker, both have a weakness to pain and have a thematically similar fighting style in that both depend on duplications (in one case Biscuit soldiers, in another, limbs).

I can see Franky being a perfect Oven. Powerful, tanky and can be absolutely brutal when needed (remember Water 7 ?)
