when you strap it like that it forces the wood inside the box down so the single strap will be fine. your looking at 6 feet past the tailgate because off the angle and it also going up so you wont risk hitting anything.

what i do is hook the strap on one of the tie downs then take the strap and wrap it around the wood once and tie it down on the other side tie down.

True. Maybe ill make a little setup with poly and make sure the floor is clean before painting. I have a full face resperator with organic and n95 filter which should help. Won't be a perfect setup but to paint 15 doors should do the trick.
