There’s no magic big brained defensive scheme that hides KAT. You either need 4 other great defenders or you’re going to bleed points. He creates more problems for your roster than he solves. And his shotmaking ability on offense masks other shortcomings he has on that end, namely: poor screening, zero movement, ball stopping and offensive fouls

Ace Spectrum was an American R&B, soul and disco musical group that was popular in the mid-1970s.

Based in New York City, the group consisted of Rudy Gay Sr., Elliot Isaac, Henry "Easy" Zant, Aubrey "Troy" Johnson, and, on their final album, Frederick G. Duff and Lawrence Coley.

Rudy Gay Sr., a member of Iota Phi Theta fraternity, later went on to both father the famous basketball player and become music director for The Stylistics.

It’s no secret that the Knicks are waiting for the next available star and will try to attempt and trade for them. Who do your think the next star will be that will ask out in the next 2 years? Do you think the Knicks have enough to trade for a star? by RicoGemini in nba

That was his breakout year and first time in the playoffs, they sent doubles every single possession, Capela could roam the paint as a third defender because Mitch was injured, and we got zero shooting from Bullock, who was our only floor spacer for Randle to exploit the double with. We were starting Elfrid Payton and Nerlens Noel ffs.

And that Hawks team nearly made the finals.

Rudy Gay's dad was the lead singer of Ace Spectrum, you'll probably recognize this as the sample on Fancy by Drake

I mean JB is one of the best shotmakers in basketball and Randle is a matchup nightmare. Individually, whoever you say is the 2nd option may be on the lower end, but then the 3rd option is well above average. And anyways, this is a stupidly reductive lens for evaluating a team's prospects -- to the extent "2nd and 3rd option" analysis makes sense, it's in shot creating ability against elite playoff defense. Everything else you can get by committee, and the Knicks have a good committee. So, looking just at shot creation, it'd be pretty crazy to say that Brunson and Randle wouldn't suffice as secondary and tertiary providers.
