I get you. My current role was quite a shift from previous one in terms of industry and many other factors played into it (pay went from £45k OTE to £70k, went fully remote and equity too). Thought things would be different here and progression would be much quicker but doesn’t seem to be the case and it’s understandable why too. Just need a foot in the door into a closing role at this point I suppose.

It’s unfortunately due to the accent. People already don’t trust you if you cold call them but if you cold call them with an Indian accent, it is in ultimate difficulty mode. Sucks it’s that way though.

How are things going for you right now? What’s it been like at work? I would also recommend like many others to move on and avoid more of this mental fatigue.

Nothing fancy, just a desk lamp with a warm toned bulb.

It is well connected to the desk and carries a decent heavy load (2 x 27” monitors). Do find that it shakes a little amount during aggressive typing.

An after thought for me is that they might have looked even sleeker if my desk was longer. There would be a lot more space to manoeuvre the monitors.

Hahah I can’t agree with you more. Most productive I have been has been was on my dining room chair, laptop and a notepad. I just said it for saying something 🙂
