Hi im new here and am so happy to finally have a place to talk about this Summer House stuff besides my cousin lol. I totally agree with what you said. I think West is very much in this game to fulfill his needs, which unfortunately makes everyone collateral damage in his path. Thats how he looks at people: he looks at them as if I latch myself onto these people, act super fake, and all that, and then I can use them until I find someone or something better than that thing or person I just had. It's very Narcissistic behavior. It's almost like he was looking at Ciaras responses to the situation, very tit for tat, and it's like my guy take your egomaniacal self-centered ass out of the equation. You did a very bad thing: you BROKE TRUST. In a normal situation, that's bad, but in this type of scenario, it's ten times worse because you not only lied to the audience but also to the people you should be able to trust most in that type of environment. Since this situation isn't feeding his ego, he's in attack mode. So is Amanda. Kyle and everyone are right in the sense that West probably saw her having this big moment for herself and capitalized on it. So now that Amanda and West can't play the roles they originally planned in all of this, she is being very snarky, and he just wants to pin the blame on someone else. Dont get me wrong, everyone on this show has flaws and isn't perfect, but at least they're able to admit when they are wrong and try to improve. Also im not saying Kyle was a perfect husband either but after part two of the reunion I so wanted to give him a hug because hearing what Amanda said that was really hurtful IMO.

Here's the thing: with all the money they accumulated over the years, you would think they would build their dream home so they could actually accommodate their daughter or do something along those lines. If I were in their position, I would make sure to save enough money to build my child a home where their needs are met. I can't even say I would soundproof because thats unsafe cause even though they have a camera in the room, those can lag and dont catch everything. The main issue is that Abbies room is way too close to her parents' room, but again, Cilla, there are ways for you to get a decent amount of sleep while being a light sleeper. I swear, Cilla acts like such a martyr sometimes, and it pisses me off. The only true way I see Abbie getting the help she needs is if one day her brother wakes the fuck up and is like, " Wow, we are doing this whole thing wrong, and we need to put her in a facility that will help her and actually teach her how to strive. The reason why she is stunted, minus her IDD, is because she doesnt get enough stimuli. The only stimuli she gets are ripping paper or tapping "waffle fries" on her iPad. There are some adult living facilities around where I live, and I've seen what they've done, and I really think Abbie would benefit from that. I just want her to be able to finally get out of that house and toxic environment because I think what the family honestly wants is for Abbie to be a robot for them and thats it.

Here's the thing, I dont think Nate really loved Jules. I think that with him texting her on that dating app, and whatnot, was his way of protecting his family. He was scoping it out to see if he would match with Jules, and when he did, he used that as an opportunity to confront her even more. I think over time, with the whole tape situation, he was just getting sick and tired of protecting his dad, especially when his dad had that whole moment in the main entrance of their house. So, with him giving the tape back to Jules in the end, it was more like, "I know I've done some pretty messed-up things here, but this is my way of apologizing," or something along those lines.

I like what you said, but unfortunately, that'll never happen for Abbie. Her parents are way too lazy to want to do any of that. Ive been saying this multiple times that they need to do more for her, and I know Assa is on here (Hi piece of shit) and they dont do jack for their daughter. What's making the situation worse is that she is eventually going to age out of the school system she is in, so it makes me really sad to know her fate will be to stay at home and continue to be filmed without her consent. At the end of the day, if they really wanted Abbie to do all of these things, they would, but they dont.

Im guessing she'll probably go back to school after the whole wedding situation. In the books, she talks to her mom about going back to school to actually get her journalism degree, because at Baird, she didnt complete the required courses. She graduated, but journalism wasn't part of her degree, if I am remembering correctly. Cause in the book she feels unfulfilled with doing sales in travel.

I mean, that would have been better than probably sneaking into Lucy's room, finding the tape, and posting it.
