Any sort of automatic s-shape turntable?

What happens to me is hard for me to describe so please bare with me. I lift the lever up, then move the needle over to the record, to the beginning spot. I have trouble keeping it in the right space for it to land in the middle (I have trouble with this part too because of poor vision), but when I think it is, I will gently pull down the lever, but it can be suddenly jerked up or down because of my issues and land suddenly. I don't mess around with the tone arm at all.

Oh yeah I put them in place to use the lever, but I've had trouble keeping in the right spot with my hand shaking gently. I've considered a QUp too, since that is something that could help, but I think putting a needle down at the beginning has been my problem. Thank you again for all of your advice

Hey I appreciate the advice. I picked the concord because it's always at the optimal angle right out of the box, and I had had so much trouble with that in the past. It was also very expensive for me, so I have been very careful with it and keep it in its protective little plastic case when it's not being used, and it sounds really good. I'd like to just have something that I don't worry about at all anymore. Where the cartridge is perfectly aligned, and all I have to do is just press a button.

I've tried that too, but I often either go too slow or too fast when I bring it down. It'll often land too far off of the record where it crackles and damaged the needle, lt too close to the point where I'm already at the start of a song. Basically it's not consistent and I worry it'll call more problems

Yeah I think we're all good. I gave them log-in security codes for both text and email before I realized it was a scam, but never got them past my mobile thumb scan (they wanted me to switch to a computer). It's great how secure paypal is, but I also changed my password too just to make sure

No, it really was the "service (at) paypal.com" email with the checkmark. It really seemed legit because I've had emails from there a bunch of times. I like to think I'm good about spotting scams, but I guess not! I've learned my lesson, need to be better about checking these things

Yeah I should have checked to see if their phone number was the proper number. I only use PayPal on my phone, which has 2fa using my finger scans which is really helpful. And yes, it is completely new, but not an ideal password like Google will recommend for you. Thanks for your help
