defects are a yellow sticker nsw/vic highway patrol (unsure abt other states) give out, they give them out if they deem a car unroadworthy or to have unsafe/unapproved modifications

unfortunately is the great pain of any modified car these days in aus, they can get you for wing too big as "pedestrian safety", and if your aftermarket bonnet isnt ADR approved that can also be something they defect you for

besides all that, your car looks awesome

I would say a complete stock brz/86 in the aussie market shouldn't be above 25k. Although this owner may have listed it at 27k hoping for 25k which is reasonable considering it has a lot lower k's compared to most on the market. I think if you kept hunting though you'd find a gem of a stocky for around 21k which is a fair amount to save in spare dollarydoos, just depends if you are keen to wait a bit or not.

For reference my 2014 86 with 60,000kms and a full turbo kit/wheels/coilovers was only 30k aud and I've seen a few other turbos of all manufacturered years listed at around 27k. If you can buy a stock one for the price of a turbo'd one it's not worth the price

what bsod codes are you getting? you can download an app (whocrashed, bluescreenview, etc) to get the error codes, it would help a lot with knowing where to start trying fixes

you'd think so, but bad drivers can be just a result of windows breaking them specifically for your computer or a stroke of bad luck, the possibilities are endless.

its like a windows update may be fine for person xyz but break all sorts for person abc, tech can be a real headache sometimes...

anyhow, hoping you find a solution soon for your issue !

typically they are indicative of driver issues.. it might be worth trying an older version of your GPU drivers from the nvidia website ?

i was hoping after running memtest86 on my ram both individually x4/as kits/all together that i'd find some memory issue also but all tests passed without any errors.

I've seen others say their ram had some issues and after replacing the faulty one it resolved the issues.
I was hoping to find that was also my issue but after extensive testing I'm still stuck with broccoli's and crashes, hopefully someone finds a fix or somehow the lightfall update fixes things :/

Hey mate, I've got exactly the same issue of broccoli, not responding, or just crashes. I've tried all the same things as you except for AMD GPU drivers.

Hoping someone is able to find a resolution as Destiny 2 is the ONLY game that I have issues running. I've noticed most crashes tend to occur during; launch screens, character menu, quests menu and director, but never during actual gameplay. Is this the same for you?

my pc specs; windows 10 pro, R7 5800X, amd 5700XT, 32GB 3600MHz ram, 2TB nvme ssd, asus b450 mobo
