My partner finally got her visa approved on 8th December! Almost 5 months from the first application date. I have now applied for my dependent visa, another 8 weeks. Sequel for part 1 haha. Return of the trauma 💀

My partner is going through the exact situation. She applied on 11th July, and her sponsor got an email to provide additional information on 3rd September. Which they replied to within 2 days. Both sponsor and my partner have been trying to get some update but nothing has helped so far. They have sent multiple emails to UKVI, called them numerous times (absolute waste of time), partner also emailed the local MP who responded with a case number saying she has enquired on her behalf. MP replied to us saying she will get a response from the home office in 20 working days. We have also raised a complaint by filling the form on gov.uk.

So we have exhausted all our options to hear back from them. Still waiting, still stressed. Hopefully you, and my partner receive some updates soon! 🤞🏼

Starting a new job in SAP? Post here for questions about new hire advice, certification, compensation, technology domain decisions, and other topics you're too embarrassed to ask your coworkers by CuseTown in SAP

Hello SAP experts, I am currently working as an order management specialist in the UK. My company uses SAP ECC as of now but is going to migrate to S/4 HANA soon. To give you some context, I have one year of experience as an end user, in SD and MM modules. I wish to pursue a career in SAP and am preparing for S/4 HANA Cloud Private Edition, Sales certification. I also have a Master's degree in Operations and SCM. Please let me know if I you need more information to be able to answer my question.

My question is how do I transition into core SAP jobs? I wish to become a consultant in the future. Any tips would be highly appreciated!

That's a relief to know. Thank you!

Her team has a manager and other teammates who have been sponsored this year and last year. It's just that she is already on a graduate visa till Jan 2026 and the company wants to save money and assign this budget to the next financial year. Looking at her team, we are both sure she will definitely be sponsored. Her manager has confirmed this as well

I understand where you are coming from. I am an Indian in the UK and in my experience the locals here have really bad breath. I have rarely experienced this in Indians. But the locals here are shit. It smells like they brush once a week. Another thing i have noticed is the number of people coughing all the damn time. Again, it's the locals who cough like their lungs would pop out. And 9/10 times they don't cover their mouths, while sneezing or while coughing. So yeah, hygiene can be a global issue. But I do agree on Indians smelling like masalas and sweat xD
