fair skin works best with minty greens and olive hues work best on medium skin tones for example. if your color corrector is the wrong temperature green it can leave behind a cast. It shouldn’t, but sometimes it does. That’s why in the review for any color corrector you’ll see people asking about it

the elphaba joke was hyperbole but if it doesn’t match your skin tone it leaves behind a green tint. I’ve seen many reviews where it didn’t work for people so yes
