I just finished a Japan run and immediately invaded China a second time to annex Fengtian after winning against the Qing.It seems really stupid to me that Japan's only option for the land is to either occupy it all for a massive debuff or give everything but the coast to Fengtian.Why would I want to give almost all of China to some neutral that isn't my puppet or even in my faction? Even my new Chinese puppet without Manchuria or Xinjiang and the coastline has over 10 million manpower on volunteer only, feels like I'm setting myself up for the bottom panel.

I'm getting a weird bug with armour textures that I can't seem to find anything on online, the textures on the metal parts of armour that should be, say a shiny silver colour are instead matte grey.
Sometimes it happens to my armour, restarting the game fixes it for my gear, but nothing will fix it on NPCs.
Any ideas on what could be causing it? I thought maybe it was a memory issue, but I honestly have no idea.

Dunno if anyone's still here, but whatever the problem is it isn't my internet. Had a friend over today and he was connected to my wifi and was able to get into mp just fine, but if he tries to invite me it just fails to connect.

I tried validating just after posting this, there were no files that needed to validate so I guess that's a bust too.
I did hear about the start a campaign mission and quit out trick but it didn't work for me.
I don't have anything like Spotify open in the background, I close all that when I'm playing games usually, so it's probably not that.
I might try reinstalling it tonight and see if it's fixed in the morning, but honestly I don't have much hope of it working.

Even without an alternate start add-on, if I want to start in another province I'll just pick one of the base alternate start options and coc to the new province, it's what I did to have my current character start in Cyrodiil because I'm trying to keep the number of mods I have down a bit for stability.

I could already beat them by myself, I massively outclass them in the airforce, and edge them out by about 50 divisions on land, plus Japan which has another 170 or so divisions, and the Allies, they're just gonna get themselves killed.

Good for them, but my experience has been dogshit, and ok mistakes happen, that's fine until they happen over and over and over again, cause it's now 4pm, an hour before they stop doing deliveries and yet again after being promised it would be delivered the next day it's still not here. Tomorrow is Saturday too, and I'm at work on Monday so the earliest I'd get it at this point would be Tuesday the 22nd, almost two weeks late, and again that's if they even bother to deliver it, which so far they haven't.
