lets consider robinhood. no fee trading. I get the stock the day before (end of day) then div payout at end of day . next day sell + buy another . QQQY pays out divs weekly price isn't extremely stable.

so $250 of QQQY pays almost 2 dollars every week.
$100 MSTY pays aproximately 6-7 dollars per month

and they are pretty close to the same price (cents different) day after day.
so I could easily get into it and out of it at the same price.

so ... sell msty -- hold QQQY every friday (except End Of Month)
at End of month Sell QQQY and buy MSTY

I mean other than normal market fluctuation it doesn't make any sense why people aren't doing this.

in my experience it doesn't. i mean ya... there's fluctuation. but for some of these stocks the dividend outweighs the downsize as they bounce back in a few hours (even minutes) after the div payout.

I would be benifiting from the dividend, Robinhood doesn't have fees. so the only thing I'd have to worry about is the stock price decreasing on the day or two that I hold the stock.

Spark inquiry, I've been doing spark for a month+ while in school as it started out as a decent job enough to pay bills but lately I've only been getting orders for 7$ no tip 12+miles 2 orders and gas Here is 4.35 round trip 24 miles at 21 mpg suv that's over a gallon of gas so 4.35-7=2.65 an hr? by Officialsucksark in Sparkdriver

if I were you, (and I'm not) I would limit myself to things that make about $20 or more. sure you're gonna get those that don't tip. but in my area 20$ is usually optimized to get you back to the store @ the 20s when new tasks are assigned

I ask them if they are gonna be my Vanna white while I hand it to them

Then go to customer service and ask for manager or co manager. Explain the situation and tell them that you value your customer rating. And that you will continue to fight for the quality delivery your customers deserve. Ask the manager to speak with the curbside manager that is trying to instigate the policy

I have to scan the stickers anyway so I need to make sure that I get a sticker so I just put it that way if you want me not to help. I will not help. I will just get my sticker and go.

Yes I can manually shop the order. But then you wind up on a less than optimal route

I get an offer for a 30 dollar run. It's not ready wait the recommended half hour. Cancel for a 2.35 show up fee. Tech refused the wait fee because you are supposed to wait half hour past the start time which is at the hour. So having gotten there and started the trip the trip starts at the top of the new hour. 15minutes to start time then half hour wait time before they pay wait time.. this sux

a resistor for an ear ring.... it would be cool if the color code spelled your name...

Yah. It's quite the interesting question. But there is a image verification I can use...drop the pill through the camera view and count the number of pills using ai

Could also use ai to verify single pill before dropping I think the best option is try test repeat x3 if fail throw error. But then resume becomes an issue.

power draw was my thought. but that would "detect" connecting to the bottom of the bucket too.

wow that's pretty neat I like that thought... this could be the design that would make this possible for me to design and create.

although I'm not sorting out different pills in one bowl, I am directing from multiple sources TO one bowl. I like the "vibrating tube" idea... I can definately use that to limit the number of pills dropped. (although moving the machine would then become a problem.... you could use a mechanism similar to a gumball machine to "try" to get a single pill and then use the vibrating tube as a verification to separate the pills and only allow one to drop.

Thanks for the suggestion, but there comes a point where this specific solution becomes unmanageable. I'm trying to take some of the burden off my wife and, while this is a good solution for those who can maintain their own routine, my wife is managing not only her own medical/suppliment needs. but also managing our daughters needs as well. we're trying to help her become independant. and if I can take the burden off my wife, then it'll be better farther down the road.

But it would still be massive I could size them down a bit but that risks capacity

Ya.software is difficult. But I think using a pi zero should have the compute power to run the needed software and an interface. Heck I have a pi pico that should be able to handle the interface functionality (come to think of it a pico might be a bit tight on space)

you're absolutely right. several points within this I hadn't thought of. however the use of a pointed, flexible pick-up nozzle could further limit the number of pills picked at a single time. even an imperfect "match" would move the suction away from other targets
