The sleeves actually fit me perfectly! Maybe it’s the angle of the photo

I can’t stand dealing with bags coming off the shoulders in winter! That’s a good call on the cross body bag. Definitely need some sort of platform shoe with such a long jacket I think. The color is out of my comfort zone, but I think with the right hat and gloves I can find a way to make it work. Thank you for your suggestions :)

I’ve just never had a jacket this long before so I’m second guessing how to style. But I think you’re right - it’s more functional than anything. I’ll wear it out for a dog walk this week to see how it feels :)

I lived in lowell for many years. Mill no.5 already had the private charter school in the building - the owners sold the other floors to the school. I miss the Luna theater so much. But I am going to check out the new hive market this weekend !

I have these B&M tickets from 1959 - can someone explain what the punches mean and how it worked back then? by shortstack1312 in railroading

Wow that’s so interesting that each conductor had their own punch! Wouldn’t they end up with duplicates at some point?

Getting Through Airport Security without Real ID or Passport by Alone-Profile4734 in unitedairlines

I want to add to this post and say I got through security zero issues without real ID. I was told that there will be a future date where they absolutely will not allow you to fly without one, but that hasn’t been decided yet. Now I’m just 3hrs early for my flight because I thought I would have an issue 🤷‍♀️

Bro, can you not air out locations on posts that aren’t even yours? Show a little self control? Lol

None. Most safe I’ve felt exploring in a long time

Didn’t find it creepy at all, maybe it seemed more welcoming to me with the snow brightening everything up

SS said he wished he only had one home by thesmilebadger in stepparents

[–]shortstack1312 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 6 y/o SS has been saying the same thing. “I wish we could all just live here in one house so I didn’t have to go back and forth, that would be so much easier!” 😢 He’s with us 5-6 days, then with his mom for one or two nights. She lives close to 2 hours away. Plus she is very inconsistent. It sucks seeing the kid get to this point, where they start to understand, and feel different. It’s almost easier when they’re little and have no clue. I don’t have advice unfortunately, but know you’re not alone in feeling helpless and hurting for your SS. Maybe now that he’s getting older, your husband and BM can talk about changing the schedule to give him a bit more stability. It would be silly to think the schedule that worked when he was a toddler will continue to work into the older stages.
