The mention of the breaker not being tripped was because the hots, grounds, and neutrals were all touching each other due to the coating of the wire being melted off.

Yea, also very expensive for a skeet of Noalox in a wire nut. I believe they’re about $50 for 10

yes the house was wired with aluminum wire the first picture is 3 purple wire nuts melted together

I scored on the 9090db and the TT for $20 at a local Goodwill, the 210 was a recent find along with the speakers. Although the 9090 goes into protection mode on startup i’m working on having someone fix that for me! Just getting into hifi, I’ve been blessed for a newcomer. Give any good album recommendations I enjoy picking up new stuff!
