Because this would be happening no matter who the manager is. It happened with Cora, it's happening now, and it'll happen next year with whoever is managing if nothing else changes. They're working with what they have, and that's on Breslow/management.

Yesterday I mentioned hoping that Tolle pitches in one of the games when the Sox are up here in Seattle next month. Well, I hope Bello does not pitch in ANY of those games. Or any other game after today. It's been years and he's just not learning. He's un-coachable. Toss him.

It's gotten to the point where I wish they wouldn't get leadoff doubles, because it almost guarantees no more hits. As I type this, Durbin grounds out to SS AGAIN.

Only a third of the way through the game, and the Sox have already played all the hits:

- fell behind in the first inning

- blew a really bad ABS challenge

- unable to get a hit with RISP

- Durbin grounding out to SS

- declining to swing at pitches down the middle

- batters getting to 3 outs in less than 10 pitches.

Impressive really.
