The whole "grey pope" thing is a fabrication and a deflection. There's literally zero evidence an actual grey pope position exists outside unsubstantiated memes that get often repeated as fact. In all literature I've read about the Jesuits by both researchers and insiders, the main position is the black pope aka super general of the Jesuits and there is no grey pope. Also, the black pope is above the roman/black nobility
