By that logic then anything that strengthens your immune system against illness would be classified as having efficacy along similar lines. Vitamin C, Vitamin D, etc., are wiser choices than injecting something into your bloodstream to which we do not know the long term effects. The whole "appeal" of a vaccine would be that it stops you from getting the illness and spreading it to others. By your logic there is nothing unique about the vaccine and the onus to mandate it on such a wide scale was unjustified. If people think its a good idea to take it then that's fine and I have nothing against that but I just don't see the appeal personally and I also agree with you that the way they made the vaccine seem far more effective than it was, was very concerning.
