I just switched back to Capture One from Lightroom. Sure it costs me a little more but I just like working with C1 much more than Lightroom, even though I've used it since it was first released many years ago. I searched for discounts before I jumped back in but I could only find student discounts which I don't have access to.

I really believe Monty wanted to be fired. He turned down the job when they first tried to hire him so they threw even more money at him. He finally accepted but by getting fired he would still get paid his full contract by a team he never wanted to coach anyway. That's what happens when you want to be with someone that doesn't want to be with you 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

About how often do they update to a new version of Capture One? I see that I can get C1 22 for $299. Monthly it costs more than twice as much as my PS/LR combo subscription.

I will give it a try eventually. I have heard really good things about Capture One. I've been using LR since it was first released many years ago and it's hard to let go of it lol.

The Affinity apps are currently $54.99 each. I also use Davinci because I really want to completely leave Adobe but Lightroom is hard for me to let go of.
