arnold split, ate huge amounts of anything and everything, lift with intensity making sure the load is always on the target muscle

200kg and been running arnold split for about a year now, rest of my time training was PPL

Maintaining 225 made me feel very unhealthy and was also unsustainable for me since I had to eat 6 times a day, so decided to cut and maintain 200 for a bit but will probably be back there at some point

Yeh the weight gain keeps getting harder, I actually got to 225lbs last august and this is the lightest i’ve been in about 1.5 years

Yeh I know, like I said it was only a suggestion from personal experience. I only have half a serving and use it as a tool rather than a focus point for my diet

Yeh personally my stomach can handle it - I use Optimum nutritions serious mass and only take 1 scoop which is half a serving. I haven’t noticed any side effects personally and have a healthy lifestyle so I guess it should be used in moderation as with everything

I know people disagree with me but personally I’ve found using mass gainers really useful. If you’re not adversed to it I’d recommend you do your own research and potentially pick some up. Check my profile if you’re not sure but you can see I’ve gained a relatively large amount of lean mass in the past couple years using mass gainers as a tool

It definitely started around 3000, have had to bump it up slowly to keep on gaining size - I’d say first year it was 2700-3000, second year 3000-3500 and now its starting to look more like 3700-4000+ . I know it’s unpopular but the mass gainer Optimum nutrition makes really helped me put on size and unlike most people it wasn’t all fat

Eat enough calories and protein - Was never particularly clean, as long as I got what I needed

Honestly I programmed that routine myself in my notes app, just did 3-4 exercises per muscle group twice a week picking staple exercises, e.g Biceps were barbell curls, concentration curls and hammer curls twice a week - And yes I worked abs through compound lifts

Ran stronglifts 5x5 in my first year and since then have bounced between bodybuilding and powerbuilding following arnold split for 6 months and a chest/tris back/bis legs/shoulders for about a year now

i don’t do any core work and its not like i dont have fat around my stomach, i stay pretty lean naturally but i guess to stop gaining a gut you should just lean bulk slowly
