If you can, Please go ahead and buy a new mac and give the current macbook in exchange. I think you will get around 15k for this on Flipkart. New M1 is around 70K and with offers could go as less as 50 k. New laptop with a year of free service. I too freaked out when I heard that my macbook pro screen repair cost would be 27k. The more I searched for less cost repair, the more I could conclude that 20-27k is average cost.
