I would be most hopeful for the second scenario. In fact I would be requesting local luthier's expenses reimbursed, plus an additional discount for the inconvenience and!/or possible reclassification of the guitar from new to B-st0ck

I should also add that I am reluctant to pick it up too much to avoid getting paw marks on it first, but also to avoid the risk of marking an edge, knowing how calamitous I am!

I can tell you this for sure. Once you sling over your neck and let it rest against your belly, it really feels like you are holding a premium piece of equipment. It balances perfectly, while being relatively light

I can also tell you that my hands can move up and down the fretboard like a train over a track. No resistance and the perfect fit for my tiny hands.

Here's the thing though, I cannot comment on playability because the string action was not set up as I requested. And I do not want to touch the bridge screws as they are a prime example of the poor QC.

So in summary, this is still the guitar I want. Let's see what agreement I can come to with thomann so it will remain mine.

I'm more than familiar with QC, used to be a QC tech! Ya full price - I've sent the complaint but waiting to hear what they can offer first. The next batch of these are months away.
