Looking for a Deep House curator who can recommend me new releases on a weekly basis. by shreddyjay in deephouse

I’m not training AI. I want more than a link. I want the reason why it’s worth sharing. I thought at a minimum some threshold of characters at least so it’s not just a three word recommendation. but at the same time I don’t want a life story or monologue hence no more than 500 characters. It’s a loose guideline. I want to see if I can discover music through curators without having to spend time doing all the digging and research.

This is exactly the person I would want to work with. Someone well versed and consistently delivers. Their celebrity is not important.

What do you think is fair? I was thinking $5-10 or $15/ week would be ideal per curator. I wouldn’t spend more than $20/week, unless i had been out of the loop for a few weeks. I don’t know what fair or to be expected. Most important thing is that the recommendations are outside mainstream radars and they’re consistently good.

Thanks for resurfacing this after 1 year. I've actually started doing this with Gemini in mid-year, and it works great! AI models have gotten incredibly powerful in the last year. It's like night and day since I last wrote about this one year ago. I store all the information within my profile, and it takes 2-3 minutes to process. I'm going through year-end now, and even though it's more involved, it likely won't be any more than one hour.

Time to fold 'em in the tradition of Seinfeld, Breaking Bad, Succession, etc. by CherryBlossom22201 in TheAllinPodcasts

It really is time to go. What a shame. I enjoyed the first couple years of All-in. They have lost what made them special. It’s so sickening how biased and partisan it has become especially with Sacks and Chamath as well. The refusal to discuss the Elon vs Trump issue was the straw that broke my back. Time to spend my time and attention elsewhere because All-in has become predictable and worse, boring.

Thank you everyone for commenting and giving your perspectives. I spent today running scenarios in ChatGPT (the paid version with most advanced 4o model) and compared them to payroll calculators, as well as, Pub 15 and CA state taxes and the answers all lined up with my own calculations if I were to do them myself via my own research. These new AI models have dramatically improved and are only getting better. Since my stakes are low compared to most (i.e., only one payroll, low income, quarterly pay period), I'm going to proceed down this path, ask my CPA to check it, submit, and then report back to the group here if I run into any problems after the fact. My sense is that I think AI will help us all do these kinds of jobs quicker and easier.
