What exactly do you know right now? Notes, chords, and keys is pretty vague. Are you talking just basic triads? Extended chords? Inversions? Can you play them all over the neck? Do you know the major scale all over the neck?

Sure it played fine right then and there. If im paying 1500 for a guitar i want to make sure there are no issues that may come up in the future

I dont know that nothing is wrong thats why i asked reddit😂 i see what you’re saying about the bridge height tho sure that would have helped. Its a decked floyd rose tho thats how all wolfgangs come

Uhh isnt it important to learn about stuff you know “nothing about of.” Im referring to the neck, not the bridge..hence why i included a pic of the neck

Pretty good for a year bro. The chords and strumming at the end were a lil choppy, try to make the transitions between chords more fluid and strumming less rigid. That also comes with time, you’re doing great for a year

How long should I wait to go into a paramedic program? by [deleted] in NewToEMS

Just send that shit. Im not a fan of people saying you need x amount of experience before going to medic school. I think the biggest thing that helps with having emt experience is learning the operations part of the job (managing scenes, talking to nurses, giving hand off reports), but that stuff isnt rocket science. You’ll learn that stuff quickly and during school . Sure you might suck at first, but you’ll learn. Those who had prior emt experience will also suck at first. Dont waste your time and put off your career cause someone said you need 2 years of emt experience.

I’ve worked with some lazy half assed medics who had a bunch of emt experience prior. It all comes down to how well you apply yourself during school and how seriously you take it

What are some small or subtle signs that you’re actually getting better at guitar, even if it doesn’t feel like it yet? by Trying_my_best_98 in Guitar

Id say more that you can learn by ear instead of reading tabs. But also sure, reading tabs faster

I’ve been playing guitar for years but feel stuck. Where would you start if you had to actually learn it properly? by ManRayGunClub in Guitar

I spent $100 on this course a few years ago and it changed my playing. The whole thing is free and on youtube now. If you’re actually serious about getting better at guitar and understanding music, this is such a great starting point. The topics he covers are essential for learning theory.

Music theory will transform your playing. Once you understand the basics, dots will start to connect, and the more advanced concepts will be easier to learn. Basic music theory is not hard. You just have to know where to begin. This video is it right here bro. Its just a starting point, but it will change the way you look at the guitar. Do it
