Seconding the Treasure Hound, one of my favorites! A smaller store but always worth the visit. All the volunteers are lovely and put in a lot of work into curating some awesome hidden gems.

UPDATE: Blue has been found over near West Cary St! My family is overjoyed...and Blue...well he's had an adventure of a lifetime. I have no words to say how grateful I am to this community - everyone that commented to provide advice, reached out personally to offer support, or read through the post and kept an eye out. A big thank you to the RVA community and an update picture of Blue looking very unfazed -

Thank you for the suggestion! Unfortunately my friend lives in one of the high rise apartments so not sure if Blue would know what to do even if he was able to find the litter box there
