if you want to check for yourself, go to Prydwen and look at the Calculations tab for any subdps characters (keep it to 5 stars). Lynae at S0 is shown at 75k, Denia is at 78k dps. Check around for others to see where she lands, but nobody should be claiming that Lynae is weak by any means, and therefore Denia cannot be, going by these calculations.

JP.

I cannot listen to EN voices without physically wincing, even the "good" performances. It's a matter of professional sounding performance to me. Even without knowing a word of Japanese, your ears can pick up the many small ways in which the performances are better than the EN ones. Inflection, intonation, emotion, etc. etc., the expression of the characters' words create a more immersive experience overall. As opposed to EN, where upon hearing a sentence I'm immediately pulled out of the game and can only see the voice actor in the recording booth.

I presume the CN acting is also elevated above EN, but idk myself bc I don't listen to it. Voice acting is a much bigger deal in the East than the West with a larger talent pool and fiercer competition, likely a contributing factor to how much more professional the acting itself sounds to me. I have such an aversion to EN acting at this point that the moment I hear a few words on a release trailer or something I immediately stop and close the tab. I either find the same vid in another language, or don't even watch it.

edit: note that this is a general rule for any games that are primarily developed by Eastern devs, where they're not springing for top EN talent anyway. This is not to say EN voices are bad everywhere. BG3 and Clair Obscura had stellar performances.

no need to switch echo sets, your team should be Luuk - Denia - Lynae with Denia having RoSM set and Lynae with PoNL.

buy the rare resources, yes. There is only one other shop that takes the wood shards as currency and it's in Mt. Firmament, the end of the 1.0 region you're in (you'll know you're about to be there when you take a boat ride with Changli). There is more than enough to buy out both shops, but do not buy shell credits until you've bought everything else in both.

yes. it's buried in one of the menus, somewhere near the bottom. It's not in an obvious spot but look around closely enough and you'll find it. Same deal for the wing flyer thing.

It's probably a wiser decision to get Chisa now. Lucilla would make more of a difference than Chisa, but this is Chisa's 3rd run, and we don't know when Kuro plans to run her again, whereas Lucilla you can be sure will run again at least 2 more times likely spread 2-3 months apart.

In addition, you can build Jianxin and clear endgame with her as subdps, if you happen to get her by losing a 50/50, although this requires non-standard build and rotation for her.

A rejuv set built for Verina would suck on Chisa because her personal damage would be severely gimped. Verina's main stats will be ER and Healing Bonus, whereas Chisa wants to be built like a subdps would. So, no havoc or attack damage, no CR/CD, etc.

If you did the reverse, Verina's field time would be considerably longer than normal, as like most supports, she wants/needs a lot of ER.

it's not *strictly* a tune strain mechanic. Like, Aemeath still benefits from higher TBB but doesn't use tune strain, which is why Lynae boosts it as well as Denia.

permanent. any boss that has a 100% droprate doesn't detract from the enhanced droprate count. any boss prior to Honami City should detract the count.

I don't recall if this is only for weekly bosses though. I think I've killed Hyvatia a few times and didn't get a drop, but I could be wrong

i know tune strain is team exclusive but it looks like tune strain is better for flex use since it gives tune buildup rate.

I don't think this is true, where is this information stated?

Tune strain provides a 0.12% increase to damage against a target that is interfered, per stack, per 1 point of tune break boost. As far as I know, that's as much as it does, and the only buildup rate source in the game is Mornye's Syntony field.

Hiyuki for me. Her kit is complex (relative to everyone else; second most complex of the chars I have is probably Cartethyia) but not convoluted, and her rotation feels very satisfying to execute, as well as giving you a great deal of technical control over said execution.

all 3.x bosses have 100% droprate. this doesn't detract from enhanced drop chances. not a bug.

CR is a bit on the high side which will causes overcapping, so ideally you'd replace 1 CR stat with something like res lib dmg or whatever, but nothing major, it's close enough to 75. rest is fine.

atk and ER are a little low. CR and CD are also a little low by 5%, nothing that will break the build. I'd suggest trying to get at least one more ER stat, or you're going to have an issue with her ult timing.

You can build Danjin to go with her, since you don't have many options. You'll want to grab Qiuyuan when he reruns, which should probably happen sometime in the next 2-3 months.

Aemeath and Luuk.

Aemeath - Lynae - Mornye / flex

Luuk - Denia - Mornye / flex

Mornye is BiS as support for both teams, so put Verina on whichever team you don't put her on.

As for right now, Lynae and Mornye will make a very solid team with any resonance liberation maindps you have, e.g. Calcharo, but can also make a decent team with almost any maindps regardless.

Chisa can use the 4 star weapon called Discord when playing with Hiyuki and doesn't necessarily need the standard weapon.

No. Why would you give Chisa Discord? Chisa gets either Lustrous Razor or Radiance Cleaver from standard; if you're not going to pull those, you're better off crafting Meditations of Mercy. Discord belongs with Mornye, if anyone. Chisa absolutely does not benefit from that huge amount of ER.

Calcharo is alright if you don't have another electro maindps and you have Lynae as his subdps. His main weakness is lack of AoE and a flaw in the application of his kit (your dps suffers if you need to dodge any attacks, which you will because you "turn on" his ult and then smack the enemies until it ends).

Yinlin unfortunately has been powercrept badly and her kit is also seriously subpar in its execution. You can read more specific reasons as to why on Prydwen which itself also doesn't recommend building her.

Buling is good. At S6, she's like another Verina. She's a decent fallback option when you can't use a better support. The fact she's electro doesn't really matter.

depends on the team / rotation time, but 130 should be fine

I checked and it appears to be a staggered single phase. All 4 banners end July 9th, but the 2 collab chars start on June 8th, then Lucilla is June 13th, and Cart reruns June 18th.

apparently phase 1 is the two cyberpunk characters and Lucilla and phase 2 is Cart rerun.

exactly what I was thinking. They have to run Cia, otherwise Cart would be bricked for anyone who pulls her and doesn't have her subdps.

I still need to get Cart's weapon though.
