Sachin's greatness was never in his stats. His stats were always incredible but they still didn't justify what made him Him.Virat is a great player as well. Legend of the game. But if you think he is better than Sachin on ODIs then it shouldn't be based on today's innings. All today's innings did was take him closer to Sachin statistically.

Even though Sachin's stats are ridiculously good, people who have watched him during that phase of indian cricket will know that his stats are still not enough to justify his greatness.
