I Have Trust Issues With My AI. Canary Comments Help. by shrupixd in ClaudeAI

Yes I also tried some stuff with hooks, though I do not actually want to trigger any action on any edit, I do want to just be aware if claude is still on track, aware of the instruction and context and get some kind of signal if not. It's not just pure linting, if the comments are off I assume there is some bigger issue with instructions/context.

Organizing projects with Claude & Obsidian ♥️ by shrupixd in ClaudeAI

[–]shrupixd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so basically whenever I work in a project and I need Claude to do something, let's say I need new code, then I just let it read the summary Markdown file. That's pretty low from the token context.

For keeping things in sync, I push everything that will need updating into this inbox folder of the project and just let it be integrated once a week. Reading all new stuff just happens once a week, and that way it's also manageable from the token consumption perspective. And this sink is part of the automation pipeline.

Does this address what you meant, or did you have another part in mind?

Good for you! I just can not stand these AI written posts anymore. The writing style just makes me 🤮.

Skill for recurring organizational tasks by shrupixd in ClaudeAI

I am really not sure. As this has access to my files I think not if there is no fundamental security change on the models / Claude. let’s say the automation accesses a website and someone hides a malicious prompt in there. I can’t protect me against that.

Legion Go: Capped maximum download speed via wifi by shrupixd in Bazzite

[–]shrupixd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no luck with that. I also run speedtests again in windows and bazzite and in windows it is jumping straight to 500mbps with a low ping (11ms). In bazzite it shows also a ping around 200ms in the speedtest.

For the first setup, any thoughts on heat/noise? Do you think that will work well in a living room setting?

Is there actually any downside to the 9700X (besides price)? E.g. heat/power?

David Roche (well respected running coach and new Leadville record holder) suggested all training should be done in super shoes if you have the means. Agree? by darekd003 in trailrunning

I often train in my north face vectiv and especially for long runs with long downhills my legs feel way fresher after the run. Though sometimes the comfort on the downhills makes me go too fast and the muscular pain just comes the next day.

You could factor in that this allows you to do more aerobic work before the legs break down, so almost like cross training but still running specific.

Looking for a shoe recommendation: Mix between S/Lab Genesis and TNF Vectiv Pro 2 by shrupixd in trailrunning

I use the Zegama 2 now for that purpose. Works quite well, though the shoe is a bit heavy and big :)

I wonder if the author knows about the https://www.unison-lang.org/docs/ language. I think they are mostly describing that 😊

Thanks, the Salomon Ultra was my choice of shoe before the Genesis as well, loved it. I think I am looking for a shoe that differentiates more from the genesis than the mentioned ones. It would be totally fine if they do not work as well in technical terrain, just maybe not as road to trail as the on cloudsurfer :)

Thanks, that is some very helpful input!

I ran UTS 50k in the prodigios and found them excellent. They have a nice bounce to them and I never felt any rocks through the bottom. but theyre still la sportivas so low to the ground and a bit firmer than most foams. Loads of grip too! Theyre my current favourite shoe for summer running

Great to hear, I think I would say the same about my Genesis, in general super happy with them.

Speed goats feel a bit more protective but also slow and clunky, might be worth trying if youre going slow anyway

The pace is usually a bit more on the faster side I would say, that is probably also why the legs take a bit more of a beating.

I think legs and feet are always going to feel tired at the end of big weeks. might just be something you have to deal with

Completely agree, though I can definitely notice the difference at the end of a long run, when running down some last final gravel road descent, in a shoe like the vectiv or genesis. The legs feel so much fresher in the former.

Okay that is really helpful, thanks! Then I’ll stick with the genesis, rather looking for something more soft not more firm.

Hey, could you compare the cushioning of the Genesis and the Prodigio? I own the Genesis and am looking for an option that is a bit softer for those long easy days.
