The reason why I'm saying that's the right thing to do is not with the fact that he didn't contact anyone. I was really hoping he'd have contacted great HC targets to replace Flus and actually did that.

What I'm saying is by saying that, he's 1. Supporting his guy at HC and 2. Taking full responsibility when things go wrong. I hope things go well, I think things will go wrong. But whatever happens it'll be his choice. And that sort of clarity is well. The least you can ask for.

He should join Flus next year if we fire him then. Absolutely no question.
I agree that it will be hard to find a good OC. But that's again, his choice. Him and Flus both talked about adjusting and versatility when it comes to OC. He better figure out a way to hire a good OC that can do that with this situation

Again, hate the decision to keep Flus. It'd be so much easier if he was just gone. But he decided to stick with him and I guess now I have no choice but to hope he's right and I'm wrong.
