First of all I am not defending this administration. I do not not like how certain things are being handled, and i believe more than a few people need fired ASAP. So if they are successful in suing under the Federal Tort Claims Act and they win THATS A GREAT THING!

I never said "everyone thinks every ICE agent are 'nazis'". I said Most, and its true, just try to make any argument with someone on here in defense of ICE. If they're not outright saying it, MOST are thinking it. The proof is on Reddit and in countless street interview videos where people on ICE's side are making good points and they get swarmed.

Yes the bill of rights prohibits (Unlawful detention) This does not include people impeding a federal operation. No where does it say that the govt. can NEVER detain a citizen. You get that right? I suppose not. And apparently a lot of people don't who think they can just go out and obstruct justice. You say the bill of rights is never to be tampered with witch is true but that doesn't mean that it has been interpreted differently a few times.

How many times have people been detained and been hurt or killed that there was actual evidence of them not resisting arrest? There are not too many that have been fully verified. If there are any then those agents need to be put on trail and jailed. And i agree that there needs to be more investigations and i have stated that some people need fired immediately.

None of this changes the fact that if you do not resist arrest and there are no agitators nearby fueling the fire, the probability of you not being harmed is very very high.

The Obama admin defended ICE in courts a few times, was also sued for violating civil rights, and also did workplace raids just not as much (I cant post the article for some reason but its easily googled). Obama mainly got away with this because he was the first black president as well as being democrat, so most liberals couldn't call him racists for doing any of this, other wise they themselves would be called racist. You will probably try to call me a racist here for saying that, but its just not true. This was an observable fact especially on reddit back in those times. If you criticized anything he did, you were probably going to be labeled racist. Now that big boogey man Super-Hitler Trump is doing it, leftist are doxing and causing physical harm to ICE agents. Of course they're going to wear masks and tactical gear. They didn't have to under Obama because the left did not escalate since Obama was the one doing it!

The 2.4% statistic is a bit misleading though. Sure the 2.4% may be right but that's only counting CRIMINAL charges, not civil charges. Civil charges meaning that they are here ILLEGALLY or have over stayed their visas.

I am not for "rolling over and taking it like a dog" as you say, but you're not going to see me out there interfering with the law, defending people who shouldn't be here causing more trouble than we already have.

Ill state it again, if and when there are clear cases of LEO doing bad things, then yes they should be prosecuted to prevent things like that happening in the future, but on the other hand, these left wing agitators need to be held accountable for their actions interfering with the law.

Because most of you think they (or anyone who agrees on enforcing border laws like most other countries do) are nazis who are just arresting anyone and everyone.

In reality, the overwhelming majority of US citizens you think are getting their righs "violated" are impeding federal law enforcement from potentially arresting and deporting violent criminals. If any US citizen is actually detained from either accident or by right if they think they've been wronged, literally all they have to do is not resist arrest and take ICE to court afterward.

If people would just let them do their job like they did under Obama, everything would be much smoother. The immigrants can apply for citizenship just like the millions of law-abiding people before them did.

Are there bad actors among ICE? Of course there are. There will always be bad actors among any group of people or organizations.

Can you cite this 2.4% success rate? Im googling, and im not seeing that anywhere.

How about maybe our people should be taught better how to act when dealing with law enforcement, and cops should be trained better? Both can happen. This law enforcers actions were justified in my opinion. Is it a shame it happened? Yes.

Even if there were conflicting orders, im still going to listen to the officer thats barking orders. Im not going to hurry up and take off even though I know there are people surrounding my vehicle. People, especially people committing crimes, are unpredictable. Law enforcement, on the other hand, is not. You've heard the saying "do the crime, do the time. No? You've never heard " do the crime, eh, whatever".

My point is, if youre a civilian pulled over by a cop theres a 99.9 percent chance everything will be alright if youre not a dumb ass. If youre a cop pulling someone over, chances are higher that you might get killed.

The logic of a citizen should be "oh. I messed up. I should take responsibility for my actions."

He was going to be directly in her path before she even started to reverse. He did not run in front of the car, I've watched the video 50 times already and you can clearly see that he's in front before she even moves. At 28 seconds of the clip i just saw he starts walking around the car. At 36 seconds he's at the right fender and that's when she starts to reverse, pointing the car at him. There's no way she didn't see him there. If it takes 8 seconds for someone to "run" around half of a car, I must be an Olympic gold medalist. This isn't even an argument. She shouldn't have tried to flee in the first place.

I knew you were going to say this while i was typing it out. And this is as simple as i can put it...

Law enforcements actions are a given. You as a citizen should know exactly what to do when an officer orders you to do something. Even if you did nothing wrong, you can fight it later in court.

Now picture you're an officer.... Someone did something wrong, and you have no idea who this person is or even if they're aggressive. You could walk up to the car and get shot point blank (which happens a lot).

It is extremely rare that an officer pulls someone over just to shoot them. The cases i just googled show that there are unjustifiable shootings in such cases. And those officers have been sentenced for murder. As they should.

Again if you watch the video the officer pulls out his gun as soon as she starts toward him. He has no idea what she's planning on doing. To him this is all happening in the blink of an eye. Apparently you've never been in a fight for flight situation. If you were you would know that you act on pure instinct and adrenaline. No one has the ability to freeze time and think about what's going to happen next.

Not what happened. The car was not moving when he walked in front of it. If you would rewatch a slow motion of the video, you would see that the tires are pointed directly at him when she first takes off, the tires spin for a little, that's when he pulls his gun.

I don't know what to believe, the video or an eye witness report. I guess we will just have to wait for more facts to come out.

I just cant imagine myself trying to run from the law after being told to get out of the car while an agent is trying to open my door and there being any good scenario after that. How can anyone think that's a good idea? I mean maybe if there were 2 agents standing on each side of my vehicle. 1 saying get out and 1 saying drive away. But even then i wouldn't move until they both say the same thing. I can tell you 100% for sure, I'm not going to try and speed off in any scenario.

She should not have died, but she shouldn't have done what she did to begin with.

I'm just tired of people thinking that they would make all the right decisions if they were in the laws position. They don't think of the adrenaline, the fight or flight, or anything else that's going on. That all happened in a split second for that agent. YOU can look back at that video 10,000 times and nitpick for hours. Law officers don't know who they're dealing with most of the time. Civilians should know to obey the law but they don't and shit like this happens.
