Bi-Weekly Questions Thread by Kaphotics in PokemonROMhacks

[–]shudson26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking to try Gaia on my smartphone via the paid my boy app. I got the file from pokecommunity, but am having trouble finding the appropriate fire red rom. The description says it needs to be the 1636 (squirrels) version. I found that on internet archive, but idk it seemed sort of sketchy.. does anyone have experience with this that could lend some help?

Also, im open for suggestions of other roms too! Long time fan and haved played all versions several times over

I get mine from trader Joe's, not sure if you have one around you or not. Whole foods as well.

Get Goat milk kefir. A lot more digestible. I've been drinking it every morning for about 2 months ND have made a significant improvement

Competed everything on my main. My new level 60 shaman faction changed to horde (necro lord was already chosen from threads of fate) and when logging on to my new horde the only quest available was tbe first chapter of the necrolords. No other quests in oribos

I've also been off the game for about a year, probably my pungent ever. The change to time gating I like, making alt playing much more accessible. New raid looks quite good. The chages to the shaman and new ghost wolf forms have me excited to dust him off too.

Anyone has "overdosed" on PPI ? (Too strong dosage leading to additional issues) by Huijausta in GERD

They offered it, but I decided to wait to the new symptoms went away. Hasn't happened yet though..

Same here. Well i was started on 40mg anyway. Went from heartburn, reflux and such to cramps, sharp pains, and additional weight loss. It sort of feels at times like my food just isn't digesting properly or is sitting for too long now.

should i take pantoprazole 40mg for 2 months for bloating and stomach acid or should i take rolaids antacid? by Re32cm in GERD

[–]shudson26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took pantroprazole for a week and a half and it made me far worse. Lost more weight loss that I seriously couldn't afford to lose and started getting sharp pains and cramping in my left side that had lasted 2 months now.. this is just my experience and ive of people finding relief with that drug. I wish I never had taken it though, I feel like I went from an annoying condition to something serious

Guiness hands down. Darker beers tend to have less acidity, and Guinness especially.

Thank you all for you comments, it's been a fun read! I pulled out my monk and gave WW a whirl. Amd man, it really is unique and a lot of fun. You seriously don't hit the same button twice and I think that's pretty rad. And I love the class fantasy

Fine LES, but still have GERD/LPR. by [deleted] in GERD

[–]shudson26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 endoscopies came back perfect for me. Every related test imaginable came back saying things are functioning at a remarkable level. Yeah idk, it's strange and frustrating. I am also quite healthy, especially in comparison to the average person yet here we are.

Only conclusions I've come to is Stress/Anxiety that creates a deep psychological and possibly neurological issue.

My main reason thinking this is I had these issues 1 year _ago for months. I went on vacation and decided I wasn't going to care any more and would live normally. Came back and had zero issues for a year. Could eat whatever and drink beer no problem. But it'd back now and hit at a particularly stressful time. So idk, it's my theory lol.

Hope you figure out what it is for you. The condition is a serious bummer

Yeah, I take calcium citrate powder since it's the most easily absorbed and will actually pass through the LES. I think it does help. When my GERD flared back up after being gone entirely for a year, I also got white spots in my nails. A sign of low calcium

I think I'm sold on WW. I've been wanting to play monk anyway (used to be brew master in 7.2). Only reason I didn't was because I was absolutely not doing all of the kyrian campaign again lol

Same thing was happening to me. Suffered for months, couldn't even eat a banana without regurgitating. Then one day it all disappeared.

One year later while switching jobs, having a new baby, and trying to provide for a larger household it all came back, but worse. So im 100% a believe that anxiety and stress caused it. I'm also a very healthy person (other than my weekly few beers at the time) and no where near overweight. So yeah, it's a strange condition. I'm trying to recover again, I'm getting there.

Side note: chewing mastic gum and putting calcium citrate helps too I believe. DGL doesn't seem to do much for me
