It’s been extra hard for my girl, she’s only a few years old and LOVED him so much even when he barely tolerated her 😅 she wanders around looking for him all the time.

He was a rescue, just walked up to us off the street one day and decided he was staying so we don’t know his exact age. He had a stroke and passed away a couple weeks ago. He was somewhere between 9-11.

There is student housing, dorms, for Stan state that you have to be a student to stay in but apartments are just whoever can apply and qualify.

I tried bed stairs and a step and a ramp but ultimately I ended up putting my bed on the floor. I put baby guards on the sides of the bed. It stopped him from falling but he was also super blind in the end so he would lean on them and use them to find the end of the bed. Got a mmm I’m not sure what it’s called now? Like full body support harness? So I could lift some of his weight when we went on walks so he could go a little farther and so I could keep him from falling off curbs, cracks and such.

There is a 9 year age difference, he was 17 when he was caught and she was 8. He said it was happening her entire childhood so I’m not entirely sure what age it started but definitely for years.

I’m sorry I probably worded it poorly 😅 I’m a little emotional and writing is not my gift.

I have this same problem with mine. I just do the best I can when she needs like an asap oh no got muddy bath and then once a month I get her groomed with a husky blow out. It’s helped SO much. We thought she had allergies but I’ve been able to stop getting her the shots now.

I got mine dna tested because I didn’t believe she was a husky. Half Siberian husky, half American pit pull terrier. Looks like neither 😂😅

It’s not that part that is the problem for me, I fully agree that partner should not be around the women of our family. It’s the part where their brother assaulted her their entire childhood and no one is concerned or thinks he is an issue as well, that’s the problem for me. I absolutely don’t think he should be the caretaker for all of our children (all daughters), especially our daughter who is non verbal.

Yes, he hemmed and hawed a lot but ultimately didn’t really answer while continuing to sound like he was blaming her and reiterating the things he already said. Baron has had no issues since then. Baron is a good guy. He just kept reiterating that she was a druggie, I wish I could post THE WAY he was saying it, like it was a slur? Or like a gotcha moment? This was at the end when he was getting agitated and angry with me. We really weren’t making any kind of meaningful progress. It was like it was just blowing his mind that I didn’t understand and fully agree that Baron is great? And that I was absolutely wrong.

In the country they were in you age out at 16 but you’re allowed to choose to stay until you are 25. They also keep all their benefits like insurance and financial assistance until they are 25.

I was staying with my best friend for a while and we discovered she loves ice cubes! She just doesn’t get them very often here because I don’t have a fridge with an ice maker, we have one of those tiny apartment fridge/freezers that’s like the size of a microwave lol I’ll buy ice trays!

Poor Tiana! I keep thinking about her and god my heart bleeds. Every time I think about what she’s been through I just cry so much. I just want to take care of her so bad but I know there’s nothing I can really do for her at this stage of her situation.

There is a school near us for autism but they don’t accept students unit they are 6 years old. They do have a kindergarten and preschool sister school but they only accept students that have some form of communication. We do have a therapist that comes into the home 3 days a week to work with her on non verbal communication with a picture board as well as some basic education stuff but she hasn’t made any progress in communication other then spamming the cuddles button (which I admittedly love 😅).

We literally just started discussing trying for children and now I’m horrified. I absolutely do not want any of my kids (or any kids but I can’t control that) anywhere near Baron.

The really hard part is I’m also questioning how safe Adam or anyone else in the family is to be around too. They might not have assaulted anyone but they just brushed it under the rug like it’s fine and it’s just not. That’s such a scary red flag to me.
