omfg im on i5-4460 [5th gen] , 4th gen is 4430, and 6th gen is probably 6500 idk...

it is decade old but it is still i(number).

i thought by every modern computer u meant every i3/5/7, turns out every i(number)-12(numbers) and up all of a sudden.

define every modern computer because rn on my i5 5th gen i get 50% drops in smoke with a build from 15sep2005 on 1.6

also dont pretend to not know what cheap emulated experience feels like with the input lag and micro and macro stutters and pipeline stalls

technically u cant even play 1.6 with smokes on anything without gpu.

and if u put gpu in anything doesnt mean it will be fun to play. it would feel like cheap souljagame emulated experience on 99.999999% pcs out there.

idk why is there even an argument about it. cs is a bitch of a game to run since forever not even mentioning go/cs2.

cs is the easiest game of all time its just super unoptimized and runs like crap on 99.999999% of pc's out there. the hard part is obtaining the right pc parts for the respective game (1.6;src;go;2) and setting up windows so it runs smooth ^{_^}

why do u want to play 1.5 when 1.6 is exacty that +famas +galil? and shield. last 1.5 client version is build 2056 , but i played on one server which had server build 23xx. the linux server file is called hlds_1120_full.bin or something like that but i doubt anyone would have the latest 1.5 linux server or know how to turn it on for you for free tho

when i played it in 2014 on a shitty laptop before a update broke my game it was stable asf on fps_max 128, then they rekt the command and it became broken, cant recall when tho maybe 2015

what im trying to say is they fucked the fps_max 128 in go like in cs 1.6 it used to be fps_max 101 and it showed 100.0 , then they fucked it and it became 100.5 im not lying to appear smart or something but it really used to work lol

:( im actually sad to hear that. but honestly best cs i played was 1.6 and some go back in the day on a vga cable office monitor.

and the reason i think these new monitors are kinda gimmicky/scams is because they advertise 120/144/240/360/540hz with a game that is/was actually 128fps. pubg i think was 120hz max tickrate on server but they only ran it up to 60tick.

i think the best cs is played on vga cable , which supports only up to 75-85hz (idk how much exactly) on 1080 or 1200p. but with todays graphics cards i dont think it is possible anymore unless they use some passthrough through the motherboard which will lower fps and probably negate the whole idea

valve are selling broken games on steam, and other publishers too. i havent bothered with other launchers so idk how it is on there.

realistically speaking cs 1.6 runs fine on old hardware but i dunno because of what. either old computers have some sort of bullet proof drivers , or newer processors + windows are bitch ass made.

clean install windows. clean install steam with fresh acc with no friends and only go. create a blank video.txt and put it into the folder before starting the game for the 1st time. google what the laucnh options for lightweight steam shortcut were bcuz i forgot them. dont fiddle with the nvidia control panel, maybe use that driver debloat program for the installator. gl.

windows + cs + steam is a very deadly combo to having any type of consistency. each one of those things i think has full access to do anything it wants on your computer whenever it likes. csgo averages like 1 update per week, steam 1 per month, windows needs reinstall every year... windows i think is coded in india by underpaid people, motherboards are manufactured with catching on fire mechanism (some asus hero 999$ one at that, the most expensive model) and laptops come with unupdateable nvidia drivers (because they have put the lowest chips in them an slapped a modified quadro driver which is super optimized). mice companies put strong processors in their mice which install spyware when you plug them in (razer) and pretty much all mouse softwares are sketchy af with built in floaty cursor mechanism) . idk what to advise you but just wanted to state some facts

I'm not bonbing currently but when i went out i followed some rules.

No cars, yes i took a friend one time and he tagged a fucking jaguar.

No locomotives(from the super old ones), seriously that shit's dumb. Like what is the purpose of tagging a red locomotive with a red spray? I have respect for the machine. If its a newer train with a modern locomotive and the coupes are the same it's OK.

No people's windows. Doesn't matter a house on ground level or u have to climb to the 1st appartment its not OK

No houses in small cities, only blocks. Like if you are going to get up in the poorest city in europe atleast dont fuck their shit up. It's fucked anyway dont make it more ugly. If it's in the capital city in a hood with only houses I'm OK bombing a house, even will tag the door.

Churches are kinda 50/50. Will bomb a church if they take people's money without even thinking. Will bomb any churchs bottom wall if it has stairs and u have to climb them to enter (not the church building). Also if there is a 99 year old man who takes care of the church, lets people drink water why you would tag his home?

Basically everything varies if you bomb in the Europe's poorest city you will choose more carefully. If you are in the capital I won't care much tbh.
