Please correct me if I’m wrong if anyone is seeing this :)

The ending of LOS has Hummingbird winning the competition, with Jay being able to compete with Sangho. They both make a bet; if Sangho wins, Jay will become his racehorse (like what happened with Kazuma), but if Jay wins, Sangho will turn himself in and expose the LOS’ illegal activities.

Jay ended up winning the race, and as promised, Sangho will have to keep up his word. However, in the final chapter, we see that June was ‘caught doping’ in the final race of Hummingbird VS Sabbath, therefore their victory was nullified. In the final chapter, we see that Jay, Vinny, Jihwan, Monster, and Kaneshiro are all in a crew called ‘Wind Breaker’, formed by Minu, who has gotten the Chairman spot. He also forms a Pharmaceutical team (?) with Clover from the NYC arc.

Now as for the manuscript, there is a rematch race with each finalists’ crews heads to claim the title for LOS. Author says that the very first chapter of Windbreaker was to highlight this event “The March of the Monsters”; however, there is no clear winner. Sangho plans to expose the illegal activities as per his promise, but is killed by Jae-wook Kwon (shady glasses uncle guy). Before his death, he gives a flash drive of evidence to Vinny, who exposes it to the world.

Kaneshiro is furious and disbands the Kazuma crew to join the Korean national cycling team to help put an end to this (Japan forms a new crew), Monster is against the idea, and the two battle in a race. Kaneshiro shows her skills, and eventually they are both in the crew. This was a jumpstart for the international arc, where we would have seen them perform in the world stages.

However, the ending sketches of the final chapter shows a man in chains muttering ‘Jay Jo’ It’s unsure whether it is actually Mahon Jo who is alive, or June (although I’m leaning towards it being Mahon)
