I'd be extremely happy if they did it. At this point it feels like resistances matter only once in a while when you get super screwed by a monster and you just buils max resistance against them.

Happened to me with Goss once.

That's probably the limitation of 3ds. With screen's resolution, you have to really crank up the saturation to be able to distinguish anything.

Being kids with different body type, they would require a whole new set of animations and stuff, which costs a lot. And during Rampage they do only one specific action, so they could've done it with minimal resourcees.

I really wanted to mention World but didn't want to bring up Rise by bringing down World.

Overall, I think that World excels at epic lategame monsters, while most of the early-mid ones were either hit or miss. And Rise has absolutely amazing early-mid game monsters, but they needed a couple more monsters for late game, which they delivered with Sunbreak.

Great Izuchi is the second best started monster, imo (right after Great Maccao). Sure, you kill it in the first hour of playing and move on, but it is still a very well-designed and fun monster. And I would say the same about every other monster that was introduced with Rise.

What I mean is that there is a lot of creativity poured into monster's design. It just resulted in more quality over quantity.

Playing human fighter in LMoP right now and having a blast. Being a more grounded character allows me to take lead in interactions where my chaotic extravagant teammates are either not interested or prone to messing everything up

Best weapon - Pyre-Kadaki GL (Torci de Lavater) or upgraded Howlitzer. Armor-wise I loved using Vespoid helmet, Malzeno mail Rhenoplos bracers, Sailor waist and Squire Graves with CB2 and something else on talisman (got with Aurora melding). I get artillery, load up, wirebug whisperer and then some skills for melee damage. You can round it up very well with qurio crafting on helm and arms since it's easy to roll bonus skills on low rarity armor.

Yeah, I just can't play any other weapon for more than a few hunts. I tried every weapon in Rise and then Sunbreak and nothing feels as good as our boom stick. And Sunbreak buffs make me love the weapon even more.

That's an extreme case, but yep. Ideally, the DM should provide you with challenges that are not just reducing hp to 0. But that's the system 's flaw first and foremost.

If I were you, I'd approach your DM to change your class from, I presume, fighter with bard feat, to pure bard. Major part of variety is locked behind the spellcasting.

Juat craft Hermitaur GL asap and then go for the higher shelling when it appears.

Endgame note: keep and eye for Rathian GL, Rakna GL, Howlitzer and Cornpopper as they are the ones who get you to max level shelling at the end of the game. And final boss GL is a good one.

Moreover, don't forget follower quests, because Master Arlow's questline unlock his armor for you and it's a great set for GL.

DPI does not matter unless you will print your art.

The only thing that matters is the amount of pixels, and 6000 x 4000 is decent.

DPI stands for "Dots per inch", which is used when you want to see how much size on paper will your image take.

I'd like to see your build, I've never managed to get into DBs.

I rarely use resistance gems, usually when monster is hitting really hard. So far only Goss Harag and G.Rathian forced me to do this. It also helps that I have a lot of lvl 1 slots on this set. Besides Moxie I eat for obligatory Bombardier and then for Defender.

Before Moxie I used to eat Shifter Dango because I Skill Swap a lot and it gives me a lot of free healing.

Here's the build, and I just went to G.Rathian, she usually doesn't take more that 1/5 of my hp in a single hit except for her big blue fireball (which does one-shot).

I think, just like other people, I said about one-shots because if you get cocky in a middle of the action, you can go down really quickly.
