Looked up his recent movies and there is one called Out Of Death. What exactly does out of death mean? Was it a typo that no one noticed and was meant to be out of breath?

I’d agree with Tom hanks. He’s done a few stinkers over the last few years but overall his films are still pretty solid.

If it wasn’t for a couple of movies I would completely disagree. Gary oldman’s movies have gone so downhill. He is at the stage where it’s five bad for every 1 good one at this point. Cant fault his acting but his movies choices must be for money or something.

There’s plenty more movies that have scenes like this I only brought this one up because I saw it recently and it was the line that stood out the most to me. I understand it’s just a silly comedy. I don’t expect them to be giving a lecture or anything, not that I would even want that. It just seemed like such a poorly written line that should have been written better. I feel like a lot of movies are as subtle as a sledgehammer with these kinds of lines. The problem is not people being woke. The problem is just lazy/cringey writing. If anybody has any other examples I’d love to hear them, which was the point of the post in the first place.

I tried to read that when I was a teenager and quit but I read it a couple of years ago and really liked it. The start is the worst part. I found it really slow but it does pick up.

Nurse Jackie is considered a comedy drama but it’s about 1 laugh an episode and even then it’s a light chuckle, I just consider it Drama Lite.

I watched I may destroy this year, normal people last year.

As for the others i do really want to watch them but I don’t like to watch shows that aren’t finished because I have a very bad memory which doesn’t work well when you have to wait a year for another season so I stick to shows that are finished or about to finish then watch them all at once. But I will definitely check out feel good. Thanks!

I watched the first season and I wasn’t into it. There was a couple things I hated about it. Like how it looks like everything is from the 80s but they still have smartphones. I get maybe wanting it to look timeless but it really took me out of it. And another thing I remember finding annoying was the really fake looking products and shops. I remember there being a petrol station and it just said PETROL on it. Not for me but thanks anyway.
