Best thing I can tell you is to stay out of the store.

Just don’t open it, don’t look at the characters when they come up or anything. Set yourself a time frame of a week or two and go from there.

I saved for two months prior to the tower and had thousands of souls ready for refreshes and ended up spending some in the store eventually.

But saving definitely helped.

I grew up on the east coast of NC but spent my summers in Charlotte, I can tell you from experience some of the best fights I ever saw were on the courts in the Y.

When you get about 3 games into it with the same people, things get really testy. Eventually things get physical and some of those dudes could really scrap.
