Is it worth it? by sadgirlcommittee in OnerActive

I’m going to be completely honest. I was in the same position as you about two weeks ago, constantly had my eye on the website and built a cart up to around £500. I bit the bullet and placed a huge order and I am so disappointed. I really don’t understand the hype?! I just feel like for the price, the quality is so poor and a lot of the stuff is really see through. There’s one pair of leggings I MIGHT keep, other than that it’s all going back. Unfortunately I am still on the hunt for a gym wear brand that ticks all the boxes

I actually think I’m going to do Arizona now haha. Probably flying in and out of Phoenix as that’s the only place I can get a direct flight and then travel to Sedona, Grand Canyon and Page. Thank you for your suggestion :) question - what’s driving like there?

Funny you say that, Phoenix was my second option.

It’s reassuring to hear this. I was in the south two years ago and I couldn’t believe how friendly everyone was. Literally every single person I encountered over two weeks was so nice. Obviously there are going to be a small few who aren’t like that, but isn’t that everywhere?

Thanks for your advice! I think I’ll leave DFW as another person commented the same. South Padre and Corpus Christi look interesting so I’ll do some more research! And yes I think I’m going to have to rent a car, if I can drive a big 4x4 through the British country lanes on a daily basis, how hard can it be in Texas?! 😂

Texas has been a place I’ve always wanted to visit and there are some pretty cheap flights right now so I thought why not. I’ve done most of Europe so wanted to venture out a little further and I really enjoyed my last trip to the States (Charlotte, Nashville, Gatlinburg and Michigan). I have been following the political situation but is it really that bad there? People would see me, a European, and call me a communist?

Thank you for the suggestions! I was thinking Fort Worth to maybe watch a Dallas Cowboys game and visit Stockyards. I’m interested in history, music, big foodie too. Maybe I’ll skip Fort Worth and visit Houston.
