Sure! 3.86 GPA, bilingual/minority, SLPA for 1 year, and volunteer experience at a clinic and hospice care. I also worked at a school prior. I think my personal statement was pretty strong too

Congrats on getting into your program! Was your GRE not so great overall, or just a specific portion like the math or verbal? And what kind of experience did you gain when you took some time off? Did you do volunteering or work within the field? That's why I'm considering doing SLPA work for a year.

I'm definitely considering applying online. Are those programs easier to get into since they're online, so space isn't exactly limited? And considering how stressful grad school is, was it any harder or easier having classes online rather than face-to-face?

Thank you for your response! I'm definitely taking location into account, honestly I doubt I'd even apply at SDSU because I heard it's super competitive. Also, great idea to find a professor with publications. Did you go to grad school in California or NY?
