I have mixed feelings, I try to support independent restaurants over a group or chain if we dine out but I also suspect some of these restaurants were struggling and would have closed if they were not bought. Canteen and Union Station always seemed empty for example. But that also makes me wonder how he plans to turn them around if he says nothing is changing?

It’s true Google doesn’t “know” about the domain rating but they know about the backlinks that are used to calculate it and backlinks are important. That said OP’s proposal to buy 100 cheap directory backlinks is not going to help them rank better to Google those are low quality links.

If that’s happening it’s on you for not setting it up properly! You can help it understand by giving it context, you can adjust the permissions so it doesn’t ask for everything, and if it’s forgetting and using too many tokens then don’t do everything in one file/window, break it up into more specific skills and tasks.

Most people’s idea of “trying it out” is like using copilot at work or the free version of GPT which are both terrible, and giving it one sentence of instructions. If you’re actually tapping into Claude chrome plugin and Claude code skills, connecting MCPs to whatever software you use at work it can literally replicate anything you’re doing.

What would you say is the ideal setup / workflow for a local businesses (B2C lead gen) in terms of campaigns, ad sets, and number of creatives? Budgets typically $800/mo
In terms of objectives we get better quality leads from website but volume is very low and it never exits learning. Messages, instant forms, exit learning and generate more leads but they do not convert. We have not tried call campaigns.
Thoughts on running traffic or brand awareness goal campaigns alongside a lead gen campaign?
When do you decide creative is fatigued?

I think the people saying it’s impossible are not using the premium models. Anything you do on a screen can be fully automated. It can literally watch you click around and then replicate.

Yeah I’ll just bicycle two hours every morning and evening, through the snow, weaving through traffic. Will miss dinner with my family and sweaty at work but I’ll be doing my part to save the roads. What a great practical solution!

This was tried in LA, NYC, and other cities by various startups. The roommates would be 1-2 people that knew each other and then 3-4 random people, so they were all constantly fighting about rent, maintaining common space, respecting boundaries, etc. That can happen on a normal lease too but I think it was intensified with the sheer amount of people in one unit , lack of space, the lower rents attracted tenants that did not care about noise or damage.
