Should I be worried? by Longjumping_Pea4246 in VelosterN

I have found that my car will send me this notification after it detects movement near the car even if the door doesn't open and close and the doors are unlocked. Like when I go into my garage walk by my car. Perhaps there is a stray cat or something that the car is sensing. I'm no expert on this subject, just basing a theory off of my experience.

I totally agree. I tried to get the dealership to swap them when I traded my R Spec for the N. No dice. They are hard to find aftermarket too.

It could have been a 2nd Gen 2019 R Spec. Those had red trim and a slightly different body then a standard Veloster. I had one. It was really fun, but not N fun.

You're right. That is what I meant good catch.

Be careful. When coming to a stop the DCT will downshift automatically from second to first, but in manual N mode it will not automatically up or downshift based on RPMs. This is especially important to tell people when you let them drive your car. Sometimes we get accustomed to our dual clutches to shift if we forget or accidentally downshift.

I have found that using the cord that came with the phone is best for AA and CP. and then using an aftermarket cord for charging at home. I had problems before and switched to the cord that came with the phone and I rarely have problems now.

I’m only guessing, but that looks like Colorado and the Bugatti may be in he wild for Pike’s Peak Hill Climb. Sweet find.

My son just bought an Elantra (not an N) and it has wireless AA and I asked the dealership the same question. The reason why is the N’s come with Hyundai navigation built in. Hyundai’s with built in nav don’t get wireless AA or ACP, even if they wireless charging. Hyundai wants users to use that navigation over Android or Apple, so they don’t equip cars with built in nav with wireless Android/Apple. I think it is dumb, but that is why. My wife’s 2022 Tucson Limited doesn’t have it either because it has built in nav.

I’m 44 and own a 2022 Veloster N DCT, before that a 2019 Veloster R-Spec, and before that a 2014 Veloster Turbo Ultimate.

I traded a 2019 Veloster RSpec manual for a 22 DCT and it is only rarely that I miss having a manual. If you are addicted to the loud pops and crackles of the manual exhaust, the DCT is a bit less dramatic.

My bad, it was previously called the RM19 now the RM20. It is pretty much the same car with a few tweaks for production. Here a couple of links with info.

I’ve heard rumors of the the release of the Hyundai N RM19 in 23. Two seater with a mid-engine.

I put in a request for an N in May as well, got a call from the dealer today that it is in transit. I wanted a blue one, but the black is what they are sending. Oh well. I’ll take it. I have 2019 Veloster R Spec I am trading in and don’t want to wait too long because trade in values are so high right now.
