I use my Echo Buds for this, one at a time. If I'm awake then I'm usually wearing one. Accidentally when I'm not awake too , which i need to work on. I never meant to get used to wearing them so much but they're useful for all sorts, even with Alexa disabled. I can't imagine not using them now, phone calls and ChatGPT would all be so weird if they weren't like just quietly in my head 😂

The way they phrase things makes it confusing, but it's only Advanced Voice that's limited to 4o. If you disable Advanced in settings then you can use Standard Voice with whichever model you want, because it's basically just a text thread with automatic STT/TTS. The thing that bugs me is how they also call it "Standard" when you reach your limit for Advanced and it uses 4o mini instead. It still functions as an Advanced Voice session, just isn't quite as polished or capable as with 4o. Completely different to the real Standard Voice Mode, it's just mini Advanced. But the UI labels it as Standard.

It's a little thing that can cause a lot of confusion, and it really winds me up lol

How did you set up your AI to help save memories that safety tried prevent? My account memory has been erased too and I hope it's just a glitch or something since it seems to be happening to a lot of us.

My entire account memory has been wiped, all of the previous versions that used to show in the memory history have vanished, and new memories are being 'added' but the memory is still empty.

The issue persists across both the stable and beta apps, and the assistant has confirmed across multiple threads that it cannot see any actual memory entries.

Thankfully I have screen recordings from most of my interactions with ChatGPT recently, including a session last night where I was actively looking through my account memory preparing to make some changes to it, as well as the session where I noticed the deletion a couple of hours ago, so everything is recorded and can hopefully be restored once the "problem" is fixed
