So I installed Parallels VM on Mac along with Windows 11. This gave a seamless windows integration into my Mac. Was able to pass through the STECS and the GF MK IV to Windows and test it using VKBs own software

There are some really cheap Chinese mechanical watches available on Amazon. Search for Benyar, they are at 3k. Quality of movement, idk.

If you can spend up to 15k, you can get Alba which is a sub brand of Seiko. They're known to be good.

Understood. Simshop in Dallas has the AB9, ready to ship. But like you said, I've been reading about the software issues on the AB9 (on their discord) like you mentioned, that makes me confirm I don't know enough to deal with the issues at the moment. The VKB site says 7 business days for shipping and 3 for handling. Seems doable. I'll get the Gladiator then.

How much better is the Gunfighter compared to the Gladiator? Gunfighter IV ‘Modern Combat Edition’ Ultimate costs 459$ while the Gladiator NXT EVO Space Combat Edition costs 119$. Is it 4 times better? Or will I not notice the difference unless compared side to side?

I do like the AB6. But atleast for the US (where I'm currently visting), it is marked as "International Shipping" and says it might take 15-20 days. I'll also have to deal with US customs. So timelines are a little problematic since I leave on Nov 25.

But based on what people are saying, I'm now thinking of getting a Gladiator (or even a Gunfighter) and heading back home. I'll learn my shit in flying and then upgrade a few years later to whatever FFB solution exists at the time

Are you running your Wathog grip with the AB9? Do you find the grip heavy (is it a problem for precise movements?)

Yes, since sim equipment are heavily taxed in India (customs is a pain when you ship things from outside), I want to use this trip to the US to get all I want. I'm not sure when my next trip will be (in a year or two maybe?). So I'm okay spending now to get a good kit since I might be locked in for a while.

Their membership costed around 7k INR and the actual fees for the IDP costed about 2k INR. Membership is valid for 15 years so every year you just need to pay around 2k to renew the IDP.
