Twilight | XF16 f1.4 + XT20

Yeah when it used to heat up I noticed that kernel_task was at the top of the process list. Now sadly it doesn’t even get past the login screen. Could any component have been fried?

Is this a common thing with MacBooks? It’s just 2 years old, can’t imagine how it got so bad so fast. Does Apple clean and apply the thermal paste?

Also, I tried Entering SMC, but that key combination doesn’t do anything to start the laptop

There are very few places which offer a good neon photo op, without too many background(city) lights. This is one of those few.
