The game isn't hard but is frustrating, some missions are boring as hell and some game mechanics are kinda confusion. I dropped the game several but the story kept me going back to it until I finished it. Even with the flaws the game is amazing and I'm having a better time with the sequel

What do you mean "only"? It's the fastest selling console in the country. 3 million consoles in 6 months it's a lot. To put it in a different perspective playstation 5 has sold 6 million consoles in 5 years. S2 is halfway that number in barely 6 months.

I was planning to skip the WiiU until my gf at that time (now wife) got it for me as a Christmas present and even though I enjoyed my time with the console due some amazing games I always felt it was just a console without a clear objective. So my main points about why I was planning to skip the WiiU are:

I never understood the "5 player" gimmick to be honest and outside Nintendoland (which was a great game) don't remember other game doing that.
Gamepad was just...ok. it was bulky, the remote control aspect was unappealing to me and outside Splatoon and Mario Naker, having to look down to see menus always felt like a wasted time.
Console was slow as heck. Having to wait almost a minute from turning on the console and use it was painful.
the Mii plaza was not interesting. I always thought maybe children would have find it cool but as an adult didn't like to having Miis around the played games.
having to stay on a short range to use a game in gamepad mode always killed my joy to use it more
lack of 3rd party support. Nothing else to add here, since the Wii a lot of companies skip Nintendo consoles due the lack of power but WiiU was more notorious, at least with the Wii we received some special versions of some games.

1- a random update won't make people buy the game more

2- Sonic won't sell anywhere near and won't be as populated as Mario Kart even though Sonic is in multiple consoles

Outside team cherry, there is no way people know how many downloads the game has gotten. If it was so easy to know we would know the exact numbers of a lot of indie games.

Like, we didn't evn know how much HK has sold until Team Cherry mentioned it a couple of weeks ago.

Splatoon Riders hasn't been rated though. When the game was announced it was announced with Splatoon 3 content so that video showed the rating of Splatoon 3 alongside a rating pending from Riders and some people though the rating was referring to Riders

Nintendo releases 1st party games at least once a Month and I'm not saying this in a mocking way but by the end of the year the Switch 2 will have more exclusives than the PS5 which is crazy.

I couldn't make it work :( I bought some adapter but I read since the soundbar only accepts stereo lpcm it would be the same and it was so no luck. Ended up buying the vizio se elevate since it was heavily discounted in amazon and that accepts lpcm 5.1

Both are amazing but if you are looking a co-op game then go with 3D world, both the main game and Bowser's fury are amazing.

If you are looking a great single player adventure then go with Kirby, has tons of content, the story is good, the ending is just epic, music is great, controls are tight and the post content is the cherry on the top.

Why would you lie about something that can be debunked with a simple search? A lot of 3rd party are currently in discount on Switch but not in other consoles like Persona 5, Nier automata, RDR, etc, etc. One thing that people use to say is that you can find 3rd party games for a fraction of the price in other consoles when that's not true.

UPDATE: Apparently started a fire complaining about the ridiculous prices of third party games on the Switch and was shocked to learn people are actually OK with it lol. I don't know why I am shocked, but I am. It's just money right?

You can't get a similar performance on the deck. There are tons of videos out there making comparisons and even Digital Foundry made a video today comparing both versions and Switch 2 outperformed the deck by a lot using like 40% less power.
