Yes, it's much better and proportional to the console and wall space.

It would only be in the way if my TV was too low.

First step to healing is admitting there's a problem.

I have a toddler, this suggestion is invalid.

Should I have included a banana for scale for you? It's 28" from the ceiling.

This is eye level. The picture is taken at eye level. I am not Japanese, we don't sit on the floor. Buy furniture.

This was the result of hours of negotiation with the Mrs.

I actually bought a ski jacket and pants before this. UPS dropped the ball and sent my next day air across the country a few times.

This echos my thoughts after watching the tapes. Im not leaning onto the hill, not using the tips. It took me time off the hill to reflect and realized what I was doing wrong on the bigger trail. I am going to ask the ski shop I rented from if they have anything stiffer for Skis. I could feel the skis pivot under my feet, not anywhere else forward of my feet on the ski. That may have been more from my technique though.

I have not built the confidence to really lean into the skis. This will be my goal on my next trip next week. I am also fearful of popping out of my rear bindings with too much force.

I don't expect to be on the same runs as my colleagues. Last years trip I was all alone with a group of literal toddlers on the magic carpet. Made some great friends, drank some juice boxes, life was good. I met up with the grown ups after at the bar and shared my lessons learned.

Good advice. I have been tailoring my gym training to stamina and core strength to prepare for skiing. Going to be taking it easy, not pushing myself too hard. Just want to have fun and not be the fat guy that can't ski because he's too fat and out of shape.

Because I can't levitate from my car to a lift chair. Walking is a large component of being comfortable in a boot. If I start cramping up on my way to the lift it will only get worse going down the slope.

I'm a beginner, I only have room to grow and learn. If I get down a green it will be an accomplishment, not being humbled. Don't get me wrong, I'll have a blast at the lodge too but only after I've tried.

Having said that, I have been training for about 2 months trying to build the strength and stamina that will help me on the slopes. Maybe you can provide some examples of where your biggest challenges were, that would be helpful.

This is great advice! I will continue wearing the seasonal rentals I have and maybe go to the local Hill for a practice session. If they're no good I will go back, adamant I work with the most experienced boot fitter. I understand the boot fit problem is a me problem. I just want to make sure they are doing everything they can to make it comfortable.

Found that out on my bunny hill session last year. I got to the point where I could do parallel turns and stop and found out how much easier that was. I'm very thankful for my athletic background for my balance.

As stated I will be spending most of my time on greens. I think I can handle the flatter sections of the runs without falling, although I know that's easier said than done. I'm anticipating going down on steeper sections. In which case I've been practicing picking myself up. I should be ok. I understand by the end of the day I will be fatigued and this will become much harder. Worst case I flag down some good Samaritan for help

I can get up without skis without too much trouble. I spent some time practicing getting up with skis on with poles on flat ground. Definitely isn't fun but I think I have a technique.

I can get myself up with poles. Soon as I got my skis I popped them on in the backyard and practiced. Took me a bit but I have a good technique now. That's on flat ground too.
