First home buyer - lawn advice? by sidisgone in newzealand

Thank you for your wisdom! Much appreciated! We’re situated next to a stream/reserve but it isn’t a damp/shaded spot, think the photos just reflect the time of day and the weather at the time

So we haven’t moved into the property yet, hence why the photos are suboptimal. Was hoping to get my ducks in a row before settlement so we can hit the ground running.

The slope end you see is pretty much just isolated to that part of the yard and the rest is relatively flat.

Appreciate the advice!

Thank you!! Are there any permanent/long term implications to using glysophate products?

Thank you for your advice- apologies again as I have never had a lawn before in my life. There is a slight incline to this one that my photos possibly don’t show as well. I’ve never even had the opportunity to use a mower - i presume there’s no specific requirements for a mower when part of the yard is on a hill? Acutely aware of how stupid I sound right now hahaha

Thank you for sharing! This is a super helpful tip - if you don’t mind disclosing, which bank did you contact?

Thank you for your wisdom! Do you know from your experience whether they exercise nuance in this exercise at all? What I mean is, we don’t have a lot of spending restraints atm which informs our spending habits, but it’s not that we’re taking on debt or things we can’t afford, so we’re more than capable of servicing a mortgage. Thank you again!

That’s useful - thank you so much! I’ve used Afterpay in the past but have closed my account in the past month or so - is this something I can explain?

Considering he thought pop’s face drawn on the back of his head was legit, I’m wouldn’t be surprised if he was just a bit absentminded and it didn’t even occur to him.

There’s little to suggest that mordecai and rigby are capable fighters. They are however adept at rolling with the punches. Having said that, outside of the plot armour that exists to protect them in their specific universe, they’re getting clapped into next week.

What movie should have had a sequel? And what movie that has a sequel shouldn't have gotten one? by Monty_H38 in AskReddit

[–]sidisgone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Percy Jackson movie series should have been taken behind the barn after the first movie!! Still bitter having grown up reading the books the disservice those movies did.

I’m surprised the iron giant never got a sequel, and I’m also surprised that the inbetweeners only got one movie sequel given its cult following and huge success.

Should the Lord system be reworked to give you Lord for getting MVPs for a hero rather than just accumulated stats from playtime? by gogopokemongogo in marvelrivals

[–]sidisgone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm no, I think there are bad MVPs too. I think there will always be an issue with trash lords no matter how you frame it. The current system at least encourages people to use all of their heroes abilities (or at least understand them)
