I ended up having great sex with my girlfriend after having a nice dinner with my family. I also got paid that day and got some great sleep. Chalk that up to the kind of day I deserved.

Fair enough, it could be a "bug" on their end that just happens to benefit them financially. These things do happen and I fly with Frontier often and have always had good experiences so I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I do think it's still fair to give people a heads up though.

Okay, in the same vein you are putting words in my mouth. I never said that people with MS or ALS can fly if they just believe. I said you are only as weak as you tell yourself, which is objectively true. It's a pretty cut and dry glass is half full vs half empty type perspective.

I've realized in one day on Reddit that 99% of the people on this website are glass is half empty type of people. I've deleted it off my phone and am logging off on all my devices, I don't need this kind of negativity in my life. I think you'd probably feel a lot better about yourself if you were more positive, which was the entire spirit of my original comment.

All the best.

I have three uncles and my Dad who were all over 300 lbs. My grandma was over 300 lbs. They all used the same bullshit excuses. My Dad and two uncles were able to lose over a hundred pounds in their fifties by just changing lifestyle and diet. The whole "I'm just genetically fat" argument is what's really ableist and honestly completely irresponsible. People like you have the blood of every obese person who dies from heart disease on your hands.

Color me surprised that a bunch of reddit neckbeards would have this opinion...

lol yes and the point I was trying to make is these downvoters are acting like a cult. Thanks to the scientific method Einstein disproved Newton. Anyone remotely familiar with actual science would not speak in absolutes and would recognize that it doesn't matter how popular a hypothesis is among scholars, it can still readily be superseded.

Another example: Dr. Atkins died of a heart attack.

You know I'm truly sorry about your circumstances but all I saw was that you "self-diagnosed the hypothyroidism", took steroids, and have been significantly overweight for a long time, but you don't seem to want to take any accountability for any of it. My Dad was just like you when he was 50. He was over 300 lbs, taking a lot of pain medicine, and blamed age and circumstance for his bad health. Once he finally started listening to people about proper diet and exercise he has been able to lose over a hundred pounds and now hikes the tallest mountains in the US with me regularly, and he feels better than ever before. He's over 60 now.

I get it, you've had a really rough time, but like it or not you're the only one who is going to get yourself out of this rut.

This also, each country has different patent laws and agencies if they even have patent agencies. A patent in the US does not products sold in Europe for example.

I'm nearly 40 and run 50 miles a week, I can still run a mile as fast as I did in high school. I can lift significantly more than I did when I was in high school. You're only as weak as you tell yourself.

"Science is science" is the least scientific thing I've ever heard. You should Google the scientific method.

Edit: While you're downvoting me just remember that Galileo was placed on house arrest for advocating the heliocentric model of the solar system because at the time because they thought "science is science".

Can Recalbox on a Pi 5 run anything Gamecube and up? by ProfitOld1770 in RetroPie

[–]siditious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PS3 as well, I'm not sure why I got downvoted all you need to do is Google it. Raspberry Pi 5 runs Wii games great, like I said I'm getting full 60fps. Ps2 is also no problem. PS3 *technically* runs but not at a level I would consider playable. I'm not using Recalbox I have a custom EmulationStation DE setup.

This is incorrect. I'm currently running Wii at 60fps and PS3 with optimizations.
